  • i think we are forgetting this happens to humans as well-no one seems upset with that

i don't think that 'disection' tells you anymore than a book,

or does everyone want inexpierenced doctors & vets?

hs is not the place tho

  • That is sooo true. When I was told that I had to disect a frog I refused. The teacher didn't like that but I didn't care and told them no... It was unnessary and because of that "education experince" hundreds of frogs died.

  • It's true. It's kind of unnecessary, unless of course you are planning on going into the veterinary field.

  • dude seriously so fucking what... it's so people can learn for if they want to be in the medical field. They won't allow them to operate on a human.. that would be stupid.

  • i tried to opt out of it in bio we had to disect a pig but i was half forced to because if i didnt i would have a zero on 15% of my grade.

  • every day people eat dead animals that have had there organs and bones riped out, to me this seems worse than dissection for educational purposes, yet it is a normal everyday thing.

just because somthing that was taught to you at school isn't helpful dosn't mean it wasnt helpful to anyone.

  • i comepltely agree with you greg

  • I don't really think it's necessary in high school or whatever, but without animal experimentation, we wouldn't have anything that resembled the kind of medical advances we have today.

Btw, it isn't an owl "turd" you took apart, it's a pellet = regurgitation. They are too large to be passed through the anus... :P

  • We do it just to piss people like you off obviously... I've never seen someone more arrogant in my life.

  • They were dead to begin with. The dead animals aren't tortured because it is dead. Dead. I don't do any of that in elementary or middle school. It's high school.

  • I agree thats why i did the Paper Version!

  • The penis (plural penises, penes) is a biological feature of male animals including both vertebrates (creatures with a backbone) and invertebrates. It is a reproductive, intromittent organ that additionally serves as the urinal duct in placental mammals.

  • my school got to dissect sharks :)...i can see how some people are disturbed by it, and im personally extremely afraid of dead things, but its to show us life i guess. i dont know. maybe its 'cause i want to be a doctor or something in the medical field one day, but i look forward to dissection days :D

  • I refuse to do that as school. I dont care if I fail becuz its so descusting and wrong.

  • I agree that it is grusome and wrong, especially in grade school because kids don't really know what they want to do. If you want to be an accountant or an engineer you don't need to. But for some professions (medical or biology) it can be very beneficial. So instead of wasting and hurting more animals for juvenile kids, wait for the big time education where it can make a difference.

  • cut class, not frogs <3

  • well onision when i did the frog thing my teacher was trying to demonstrate to us how we probelbly can revive a wounded creature (not like it was alive) well we were timed and we had to think of every way possible to revive the model well after the timing she takes a look and she figures out if it would be living of not but the frog was open up so that she can see if it will survive and what spot it was impaled.

  • I did that in fourth grade. :S

  • i wondered about that to, but it's for the best. but i dont really think it has anything to do with rollercoaster designing or being a accountant because rollercoaster is probably somekind of engineering and accountant is about money i guess but we dissect in science and those 2 are kind of irrelevent to dissection when your conparing. lol. but i agree i don't enjoy cutting animals.

  • Our school gets already dead frogs from our local collage, and those frogs were OOOLLD. Like those had been alive for many years. The bad thing is, is that they had to kill the frogs for our education. I actually want to a vetanarian. (excuse me if I spelled that wrong) Onison, trully, it's good for our education.

  • no. I thought it was very educational. And thats why its called SCIENCE class not accountant class or rollercoaster operator class its FUCKING SCIENCE class so if you want to be a SCIENTIST! So fuck you pussy.

  • -1 that was an owl PELET they dont dijest the bone they cough it back up

-2 disection is 2 help us teenagers in school learn about how things function

-3 if the schools get sheep cow exetera they get it from the butcher. would u rather that, that part of the animal rots?

  • we found a baby mouse in the belly of a frog in 7th grade. That made me cry.after class

  • We had to dissect a frog in 7th grade.I think I pissed the teacher off, because I would not stop ranting on how wrong it is for us to kill this innocent animal for the purpose of mutilating it.In high school if we ever have to dissect something,I will probably protest again. But I'm not a vegetarian, because I believe there is a purpose for that, and the purpose being food. I know it sounds hypocritical, but so be it. I don't think we need to dissect things unless we are a scientist/med student.

  • dissection is a good thing it helps people learn but dissection in middle/high school is a wast of time and fucking stupid

  • Oh yeah, in 7th I had to dissect a pig heart, and I think later on I might have to dissect a cow eye.

Why is the cutting needed, I don't learn anything from this stuff.

  • I did the owl poo one in first or second grade, and just this week I was supposed to be dissecting the frog, and if anything I don't want to be a doctor anymore. I wanted to go into medical to help people, but these frogs are dead, and the smell the preservatives give off made me want to throw up, so I was spending the time in the corner of the room, next to the door, trying not to freaking throw up, while watching other kids pretend to eat the insides of these animals. Educational, right?

  • I had to cut open a piglet that died of "natural causes". It looked like my kitten. It was fucking gross and horrific.

  • I did the owl feces one I meant! Ha.

  • I did the same thing. I thought it to be interesting because seeing the good in a bad situation is a good skill.

  • 113 people who disliked this vid ate the bones from the turds of birds.

  • lol just a wee bit traumatized..im srry but imfound tht line funny

  • i want 2 be a doctor so yea...

  • I am currently at med school and the dissection of human bodies is needed to learn how it works.

The same goes with biology. If you want to know how something works, you are going to have to take it apart.

I dunno if it's different in America, but in Britain, where I am, you only do the dissection if you've chosen to study Biology.

And only then if you are comfortable doing so.

So yeah. I guess I agree with @TheCrimsonldol987, it just took me a while to say it. :)

  • @lbscummers In my school, you have to take biology in 9th or 10th grade, and if you dont dissect the frog, i guess you have to boil it? I'm not even sure what that accomplishes, but it really amplified the smell.

  • @emokitty1881 hell no hon, i thought i would hate ripping that little thing apart, but once you try it, it gets easier. and its kind of fun. the 7th grade frog dissection is something every person should experience. and there will be a lot more dissections that you wont be able to get out of, so start now so you'll be experienced. as an 8th grader,14, i have just dissected a cow eyeball =, we had to touch it.. ew at first, omfg awesome later on haha so just get it over with :D

  • an owl pellet is like a hair ball with a cat, its the parts of animal that the owl cant digest

  • I never got to disect a frog....i always wanted to as a kid.

  • i think that this should b considerd animal abuse xD

  • i think that if the animal died by old age then we can cut it open. but only for learning purposes.

  • home school for the win

  • home school ftw

  • I only agree to the extent of dissecting humans.

Cruel, you ask? Well, look at it this way, do we really need to know what makes animals tick? Is that such vital information, that we need to kill a living organism? No. Therefore, no dissecting. No KILLING.

    About the human thing...

I only agree with human body picking, because of the homicides that take place in our society today. No searching the body, less conviction rate. Don't forget medicine science. :]

  • bird turd is the word

  • what the fuck did they teach at your school

  • I had to dissect a frog, the guys cut off the frogs legs and tongues, some sicko took the frog's hand OUT THE DOOR. It was nasty, interesting, but why did i have to do it???

  • I'm so glad i never had to do this. even if it ever came up in class, i would refuse to do it no matter what.

  • As an aspiring doctor I could not wait to dissect a fetal pig in class. But I ended up hovering over a jerk who only wanted to gouge out the poor pigs eyes. I learned NOTHING. I barely touched the pig, and girls were screaming all over the place.

In conclusion I felt that most of the students were just too immature to deal with this. So I agree that in High school it is pointless to teach kids this. Although generally I think dissection can help us learn more about the world.

  • Actually owl pellets aren't excrement, they are what are thrown up by the owl, because they can't digest it, that's why it's nothing but fur and bones.

  • I BELIEVE THAT AT HIGHSCHOOL IT'S IRRELEVANT. I THINK THAT PEOPLE WHO WANT TO BECOME VETS, SHOULD KNOW, HOW IT LOOKS FROM THE INSIDE. I ONCE ASKED MY TEACHER IF HE THINKS IT'S ETHICAL AND HE SAID THAT THEY USUALLY USE ANIMALS, THAT HAVE ALREADY BEEN KILLED, BUT I DON'T KNOW IF I CAN TRUST HIM ON THIS. I BELIEVE THAT IT DID HELP SCIENCE AND THAT WE HAVE A LOT OF PILLS THANKS TO ANIMAL TESTING AND THAT WE SAVED AND SAVE HUMAN LIVES, BUT AS A VEGAN I DON'T FEEL THAT COMFORTABLE ABOUT IT.

  • @MrSaycheeseandsmile See that button to the left of the letter a? press it... lol

  • im so happy im britsih....

  • once we had to discect this huge worm that smelled like salty chemicals....i can never eat pickeled string beans again ):

  • My school is horrible, I told them I'm not okay with ripping apart a frog.

But no, they're making me do it anyway this year.

I'm trying to find a virtual one that I can get the school to use instead of killing animals and sending them to schools just so we can tear them apart.

  • my thoughts EXACTLY!!!

  • why no use rode kill ther will be no unnesisary deaths " this was probably ti liver maby."

  • At 9th grade in finland we have to cut reindeers heart.

  • Yes look here kids and see what happens when you don't learn things, see what you'll turn into, an onionhead.

  • They did that at our school the other day.

I had to leave the room. Dx

  • Well, I had to dissect an Owl's turd.... in the 4th grade. It helps broaden younger children's minds to the outside world, you idiot.

  • MOM: "But when you disect an animal, you learn how it works. its education and u need it."

ME: "But it's sick and I'm not learning anything from it! Why should they suffer for no reason?"

MOM: "They don't suffer if they're dead."

ME: "But where do you thikn they get the animals? And why in the world do you think thats ok?"

MOM: "But its for your education"

ME: "Did you even listen to anything i just said?!?"

  • I did that in 5th grade

  • You're using the same arguments that 6th graders use.

"This doesn't apply to ME, WHY SHOULD I CARE?"

It's based on general knowledge, so we can learn more about how living organisms work.

Don't like it? Man up and pass the class so you don't have to be a pussy about it two years in a row.

I could bitch about calc and trig and say, "How do these help me be a biologist?"

You don't need those to zoom a microscope or count add numbers. I might as well stop at 5th grade math,

  • Some people say it is necessary, because they themselves want to know for their future. Not all of us need to know. I think the best solution is virtual dissection, because honestly in my school, they make us dissect pigs. I will not be doing that.

  • @Sims2players When my mom went to college, she had to take apart pigs, too. But over the course of several days. So, since there wasn't any piglet-embryo-friendly storage places anywhere, the students had to find a place.

They had to keep them under their beds.

    o.0

  • @acheese9 WTF?!

  • I believe dissection is necessary for human evolution.

Lemme tell you why, biologists, scientists, etc. are BAFFLED still by some of the amazing things an organism does, especially primates and so forth.

Without studying animals and dissecting people who have donated their bodies to the advancement of science, we would still be in the Dark Ages of medical knowledge.

The more we dissect, the more we learn about our world.

    But that's just me.

  • @TheCrimsonIdol987 There are more technological ways to do the same without slicing an animal open.

  • @TheCrimsonIdol987 well i think we should leave that to biologists

  • @TheCrimsonIdol987 oh yeah its a very important thing but it just sucks that we put kids (normally in middle school) through that crap. i mean at least wait untill highschool, where someone has the choice to pick that class.

  • @TheCrimsonIdol987 Agreed completely, I guess that's his opinion but I believe dissecting is very necessary.

  • Onision, its owl puke. haha, We did that too.

  • It's cool to see how insides work, and it grabs your attention much more than a diagram. Besides, not all labs use living animals, at my old school we had frozen dead frongs to dissect

  • @aboutashow: Normally, schools, colleges, and institutions do not promote the living dissection of an organism, this is known as vivisection, and Animal Rights people do not agree with vivisecting an animal unless scientifically necessary.

  • Onision, who cares? No really........... WHO CARES?

  • @DoomExtreme1 Me. I care.

  • 666 LIKES THE NUBER OF THE LEAST SACRIFICE IS GOING ON THE MIGHT GAY GAY GAY NONNONONONOONONONONONONOO LOLOLOLOL PENIS

  • ASSSSSSSS! fuck big bonerrrrrrrrrr penis 8==============D <===3 ear balls

sp3rm ass in my whale balllszzzzz jumping up and down with a big p3nis 8==D shoving in my earballs i want to CHICKMICNFUCKIT YOUR CHICKMCNUGGET LOL ASSSSSSS! IM JUST KIDDING LOL IM VEGETARIAN

  • another idiotic statement from onision. its called learning, some people are interested in how biology works otherwise we wouldnt have such advanced medicine and surgical techniques today. if children are not exposed to different areas of study fully then their choices are narrowed. part of being a biologist is disecting things, think it through.

  • But sadly we are far from ideal and Most of us dont know what we want untill we experiment with different subjects and areas of study, Cause i mean how often do kids grow up to be what they want to be When they're in elementary school(for instance i was intent on becoming a firetruck) So teachers in Elemetary and middle school need to expose children to different things so we can find out if little suzy REALLY wants to be a vet or if at the sight of blood Or a needle she vomits and faints.

  • I See wehre you're coming from, and I personally think that it shouldn't be taught in school and I mena, maybe this makes me sound ignorant or something, but personally i dont think that they should even do virtual dissections until children are smart enough to Not want to see what the real thing looks like and decide to do it on their own, But on the other side of the argument, ideally we would all know What we wanted to be when we grow up when we're at a young age so they can begin training

  • That's school for you.

Dissecting animals is no different than the other useless subjects. Like, how do I use the stuff I learned about long-dead poets, how they lived their decadent lives, what unenjoyable nonsense they have written, and the supposed meaning behind their lines?

Or how does it help me to know what happened four thousand years ago on the other side of the globe?

I could go on with the list of things I have never given a stray thought since I graduated.

  • @Grimmgore I know. When am I ever going to use English in real life, right?

  • taking a part animals is really REALLY GROSS im with u onision

  • Jesus Christ, the animals are already dead? so whats the problem with using it to learn?

  • @clownslayer4235 It's unnecessary. There are so many internet sites and programs where you can virtually dissect these things and actually learn something about how it functions rather than uselessly doing it with a real animal/body part and having kids slap each other with the body parts, joke around and not really learn anything.

  • well... at least its dead?

  • my brother had to dissect a CAT. quite unfortunately, it looked like his pet cat. ugh. I'm going into 10th grade this year, and the worst I've had to do so far was cut a chicken wing in 8th grade (it didn't have any skin or anything, it was just the muscle.) I really hope I don't have to cut open a frog or anything like that. I don't think my stomach could take it :/

  • @CEPandSMA you can ask to do a virtual dissection online. They have to let you do it.

  • @CEPandSMA ...the only thing you've ever done with a chicken wing was CUT it?

  • have you ever thought of how docters learn how to do sugery

  • Dissect from dictionary dotcom

    1. to cut apart (an animal body, plant, etc.) to examine the structure, relation of parts, or the like.

    2. to examine minutely part by part; analyze: to dissect an idea.

It's not done for enjoyment or some evil act as some people like to insinuate. Frogs have the same general organs as humans which is why most schools dissect frogs (and pigs for the same reason). Hands on and naked eye observation is an excellent way to learn about organ systems and similarities.

  • Another reason I dislike America.

    UK FTW.

  • i had to do the whole traditional "cut open a frog" thing back in the 7th grade. currently im going to be a senior this year, but i remember i just didnt want to do it. i remember saying to my teacher "if a frog was cutting a human open, how would u feel?" basically i remember she yelled at me and went onto saying how "these frogs are taken from over populated places"...ok? that doesnt change that its gross and disturbing! i completely agree, onision

  • dude my teacher made us to do that it was the worse thing i watch ( i refused to particapate in the action of disection) and the group i was in the teacher didnt even get mad when they just riped everything out and didnt even try to make it and "educational experience" it was like a whore movie

    disection dosnt teach kids anything

  • Yes. That is really fucked up.

  • How is it torture if the thing is dead?

  • I think there is a major difference between the torturing of innocent animals, and dissecting dead ones. There is no pleasure received from dissecting animals (for most students) where as some children torture animals for pleasure, for psycho sexual stimulation, pleasure, and ultimately POWER... that has been statistically connected to the eventual torture of human beings and feeling of power over them. Dissection however has not...ever...AT ALL

  • but these frogs are already dead, we didint kill the frogs.

  • in my school we only do disections if you are doing A level biology i.e in my school probably training to be a doctor/surgeon/vet. anyway in medical school they cut up humans as well :/ but yeah in schools you should be able to say why shud i do this i dont want to be a surgeon etc :)

  • At my school we only dissect pigs. But the pigs we get are little baby ones, the ones that did not survive the birthing, or had terminal illness that killed it a few days later.

We did not contribute to his/her death, so no harm is being done. They did die young, but it was natural, not mankind's cause

Thumbs up so her can see it!!!

  • I had to watch a video at school and on that video they cut open a dog and showed us the heart... I couldn't take it...

  • @emoxxxangelxxx yeah i remeber in my school we had to learn how to do that owl thing when i was in middle school but what are they teaching us its not like one day were gonna be caught in a situation where u have to find bones in birds crap wow a dog thats just crule i have a job now i work at seaworld and get decent money im still 16 though not exactly the job i dreamed when i was little but things change and the schools need to realize that not every one wants to become scientists

  • It could be for students aspiring to be vets. Schools have to cater to nearly everything when it comes to a students needs for the world of work and if dissection helps a student who wants to be a vet then they have to do it.

  • we did that at school, but not in real life. its was just a game on the computer! i was so glad!

  • I'm so glad I finally found this video, sorry for asking for it all this time when it was already up! Love your opinions, xx

  • I tried to get into the applied science in my high school instead of academic simply because I heard they would not have to dissect... Turns out, what I heard was wrong because there were two dissection days. One I was thankfully absent for because I was on a field trip with a world peace group in grade 9. The other I could not even get close to and my partners did everything while I just stayed as close to the wall as I could because I felt like puking. School sucks. I plan to home school.

  • onision you probably wont read this but... its all about making kids do stupid pointless shit so that they learn that the government is an authority figure and they have to do what they say no matter how much sense it makes

  • The only schools that should have you cut open animals, is medschool. I happen to be a paramedic, and knowing these things help, but my cousin is a game designer. Exactly when the fuck will he EVER need to know where organs go?

  • @thecatyoukai well, as a developer myself, I have to say he may have to know a bit of anatomy when doing some modeling. though you don't need to dissect an animal to learn anatomy.

  • @thecatyoukai when the fat gamers have heart attacks from chips and redbull ^_^

  • i disected a frog once and it just horrified me

  • no doctor has ever learned about the human body without looking inside it. looking in other animals helps us understad our own bodies. you may not want to be a doctor but at least your less ignorant about your own body, and subject that has done so much for us. why should you learn to read, write, or do math, cuz it advances you.

  • at our school we disect plants!

  • there are websites to digitally disect them so you dont have to do anything

  • LIES im 13 i had to do it

  • @hhuuann When I was 12 I had to dissect a frog. I'm only 13 now. I dissected an owl pellet at 6, and my little brother did it at 7. Later on in high school, if my friend's sister is speaking the truth, we'll have to dissect a cat, although I won't do it even if they force me. I'm not an animal freak, but a cat? I own a cat. I won't do it. Yeah, kids are doing this.

  • its not a turd... dumb ass its the things it cant digest so it throws it back up

  • theres a lot of things we learn, or have learned that does not and will not help us with our future jobs, but education is a broad spectrum of learning and yes it will require things you do not care about and or will never use but if schools only taught math or whatever you would need most in your future planned job, you would be a very uneducated person.

  • Why don't you ask any veterinarian why that is important

  • How about if we just killed a PETA jerk and took him or her apart in school? That might help us learn better, and PETArds are useless.

  • i agree completely! i am a vegan and i remember when i was in 7th grade when we dissected frogs which was before i became vegan. i have always cared for animals and when the frogs came out i couldn't even look at them. each day we cut them open all i did was stare at the ground, trying not to smell the awful stench, and resisting the urge to puke. i saw what they did and it was horrifying. it was disgusting and i look back and think how happy i am that i am vegan today

  • a couple of weeks ago we were gonna take a rat apart in biology class, but i didn't want to do it so luckily they didn't make me... the next time i see a rat, i don't want to know where its liver, its kidneys and its balls are.

  • Dude, Onision

    WTF.

    Their dead.

    What a lightweight

  • @WhammyFlicks and why did they die? because of meateaters directly paying for that to happen

and just think about it. you are eating something that was a living thing. had emotions, feelings. how is that different from eating another human?

  • @TheTutorialAgent Hmmm... another weirdo, and just for the record, im a cannibal. if i wanted to, i could get your pet/animal, rip its fur off and eat their remaining's. Or i can Take you, and lick your blood off of my shiny, metal machete like kool aid. Since i am obviously going to do either, and the fact that i have two cats and am not a cannibal, I would rather eat the non living remainings of a already drugged ,dead and fried animal.

  • @WhammyFlicks Fuck you. Thats all i have to say.

  • that itsnt owl dropping thats owl pelts... it comes out the other end... they're like cats hair balls...

  • It's meant to learn anatomy, and really we don't use most of the things we learn in school, its really just meant to find out what we are interested in doing with our life. If you find it interesting to disect and go through the organs and what not of an animal, perhaps you would enjoy being a surgeon ^_^. My high school's anatomy class disected dead cats, people who are interested in careers in medicine (or vetinary) normally took those classes though.

  • Ha Ha a birds turd that part made me laugh!

  • I did a fetal pig dissection like a month ago for biology. It was actually really interesting. But if you don't want to do it you usually dont have to.

  • onision i said i wont do it..and i refused to disect..and i got a detention!

  • it helped me cause im studying to be a vet i need to learn that stuff (i did it virtually)

  • it's fun, dissection was really fun back in school days, many will puke, many will not like it, who gives a shit.

killing is fun, so is opening shit up.

it is non necessary, true, but sure it's better than studying a book and writing out all the parts of the the body! murder over school work any day of the week.

  • im starting a riot in freshman year! we have to kill a frog AND a pig! WHO IS STARTING A RIOT WITH ME???

im a vegetarian. i will only cut open a carrot. :)

  • we do that so kids dont have to learn about anatomy by opening up a cadaver from the street

  • I never had to do that in school :/ oh well :) yay for me :)

  • "Oo~ I wanna learn more about this animal, lets take a knife and kill them slowly!" That makes sense!

  • Well there is a big diffrence.. The animals are already dead.. Yeah you are right, you don´t need it if your not going to be a veterenarian nor a doctor. But we even do it with human beings to learn about the human body, its nessecary so that we can make sure that the people that are alive today, that we can take care of them if they get sick, its nessecary knowledge, and you also do it to find the reason of death on a human being in a "crime case". But yeah maybe we shouldnt do it in >school

  • well maybe not everyone is going to end up being an accountant. if you're going to be a vet or a doctor, these things are vital to know. plus, when we dissected a baby pig, the pig died of natural causes.

  • what do you do for a living?

  • Bleh, I Had To Do The Owl Turd Thing Twice. :(

  • I dissected a goat eye last week.

    I was freaking awesome!!!

    GO SCIENCE!!!!

  • I had to mummify a turkey. Well, not really me but my two partners. I was watching from a distance... I get my jollies by not doing creepy things. :)

  • but in that case it actually makes since lol.

  • You know if you want to be vet, you have to do all this stuff.

  • Maybe someone wants to be a doctor. In my school it came form a farm were the frogs died naturally.

  • its a life skill. to deal with dealing with gross stuff.

like changing diapers. fucking disgusting. but when i was little after our cat died i cracked his skull open and checked his brains out. then preceded to cut his belly open and check out what his last meal was. Looked like kibble and hairballs.

This interaction made changing diapers alot easier. I couldnt imagine anyone else changing my fathers diapers but me.

  • Last year when I did frog disection my cousin threw up from the smell. =P I hated that. Poor froggies.

  • They made us dissect an owl pellet...which is owls throw up basically, it was so gross i think of it to this day and gag!

  • We're about to do the frog dissection thing in a few weeks...

  • What about doctors? I bet that helped some kids that aspire to help patients in surgery.

  • we did that owl turd thing. LOLZ

  • so did we!! lol the teachers let us keep the bones afterward...O.o

  • when i get to that point in school, im going to refuse to do it. I'll take an F on it, thank you.

  • I'm unlucky because in the UK we never dissect an animal :(

  • I like the first part. They are fine with dissection in class, but I one did it on a road kill to put the bones together for an art class, and I got put in counseling. How is that fair? Just like your owl turd. Do it in class and it's fine, but do it on your own, and your a psycho? WTF?

  • meh...teachers need to get kicks somehow o___O

  • I agree completely.

I almost failed my science class because I wouldn't disect a cow eye.

I almost failed, making it to where I would have had to repeat the entire semester in summer school.

I almost failed because I wouldn't play with a dead carcass.

I think the educational system.... is fucked.

  • Screw the hate comments you are right!

  • they made us cut up a fish when i was in 5th grade all I wanted to do was vomit, to this day I cannot eat anything if I have to clean it of any organs or anything, I fish at costco and I eat boneless chicken and I have to cook turkey loaf for thanksgivving because I could never deal with a whole turkey and the giblets. yeah i'd say I was traumatized by it as well.

  • surprisingly he makes a good argument

  • i've never done that, we always work by pictures.

I believe doctors and scientists should be allowed to make disections, but not just every student.

When a person decides to become a doctor, they know they will need to disect other humans, they know and they agree. One does not really chose to be in school, so being forced to do something like that is just wrong.

  • I know it's kinda gross and wrong. :3 And students shouldn't have to do it. I defiantly agree. But I guess if they never did that long ago they wouldn't really know how to take care of us or the animals if they didn't look inside them and see what's going on. Just food for thought. :3

  • Because it's fun for the whole family!

  • I think we should all do those internet dissections. Why do we look at pictures for humans and not animals? I have no clue. Why don't we dissect humans? oh yea because its WRONG! If we wouldn't rip up people, why do we rip up animals?

  • Yeah I had to take apart an owl turd thing. It was not only gross but really unnecessary. Cause later in life I'm going to be a professional animal poop/throw up inspector right?

    Makes sense. >_>

  • Now, Addressing this video:

I remember being asked to Dissect Pig. I was against so, and felt like declaring I was not going to participate. But that would accomplish little more than what the dissection does anyway.

So I wrote an essay explaining my feelings logically, and asked if I could instead Draw/Colour pictures of the Pigs insides. They accepted.

Which begs the question: "Why even have the expensive Dissection if you can learn the same, if not more by colouring?"

    Never got an answser
