  • It would be nice, since you repeatedly mention buying online, for you to include links or at least the name of the product you say is so crucial.

  • that looks like windo screen.

  • how do you varnish it??

  • Wicked home brew but it works. Screenprinting rules! ☠

  • Do you have to get a new silk screen (not frame) for each different design ??

  • Did you get into a fight with a lawn mower?

  • does the screen from an old window works??

  • @AvatarTTfan thats what i was wondering also

  • The screen is called "Mesh" the most commonly used screen mesh is 86, 110, and 156. And those numbers mean how many threads per square inch. Hope i helped =)

  • @tollstop thanks very much I wanted to know what the screen material was called.

  • what's the name of the screen material ?

  • Nice "expert". He looks like a filthy hippy to me.

  • @JorshWarshington So you'll only listen to people in suits with a short back and sides?

  • @bowokk

I only listen to people who bathe.

  • @JorshWarshington wow you're an arrogant prick. So I'm guessing you're all about appearances, slightly shallow don't you think?

  • @JorshWarshington Well you clicked the fucking link, Watched it and then commented! I bet your a two faced prick in real life.

  • @djpuppy28

  • cheers man! what method do you use to get the stencil? photoemulsion + blacklight and all that?

  • Comment removed

  • Can I use muslin for mesh? And how do I burn an acetate on to the screen? And whats all this about emulsion? Should I go to the pub tonight?

  • How do you know what kind of mesh the fabric is when you go to the art shop.

  • Wow!!! How basic can you get?

nice clip , but I guess some people just need that extra know how.

  • @bobbyDeer22 true!!! so true!!!

  • ooh , hello mark ;)

  • thanks for that mate, you look real cool too!

  • what is that paper/sheet called u use for the actual design?if someone could let me know that would be tops!

  • what are the typical savings from making your own screens?

  • yall just need to get some nylon and strap that biz over some wood son

  • does it always have to be on that type of paper.... wat if the design is on just regular lined paper

  • Embroidery circles are ok for SMALL prints.

But you'r radther use a square frame

    for full-size prints...

...it will allow you to use a squeegie to

apply the ink Evenly in a single pass and

    get good coverage.

An embroidery circle is annoyingly limited,

and you'll end up wasting more ink than printing with it.

  • I learn this ten years ago, with a window screen. That's ok for beginners.

But, for a really professional screenprints you're better off using real silkscreen mesh such as what the guy shows above.

  • which store NAME do you get yours at

  • my local art supply store is hobby lobby ... they have the screen pre made but they are 30$ each .. I would much rather buy the screen in bulk yards then make my own .. esp since my hubby has lots of wood scraps in the garage that could easily be turned into nice frames ... and i could save money :) and make more

  • where do you buy the mesh screen at

  • At any Art Supply store

  • could we use window screen ??????????????

  • lol no

  • well if you were using stencils to screen print and not photo emulsion i don't see why not?

although there is a major possibility that it would destroy itself

  • Thanks!

  • Thank You!! No one mentioned that in the previous videos. Yes, what's the name of the screen? Maybe it can be bought at Michaels.

  • what type of material is the screen? whats it called? thanks.

  • The material is a nylon mesh. It comes in different "mesh" counts. 110 mesh is white in color and is typically used for tee shirts.
