Busse's done a real good job of marketing his knifes, mysterious steel and all. And he has a cult like following because of this, but you could make a knife an inch thick and yes it will be stronger, but it also becomes impractical. And also, the handle of an 800 dollar knife shouldn't come loose even with this kind of abuse. Especially considering busse's marketing.
all testing is supreme, if there was a knife heaven then mr.noss4 would be admitting the worthy.but try to order a battle mistress and seemingly its not offered on the busse web site.BUSSE DOES NOT HAVE A USER FRIENDLY WEB SITE,ITS EASIER PULLING EYE TEETH.
Their website would be better but they are too busy laughing at Cold Steel's website. I like CS, but their claims of toughest are just not true. Busse is the king of tough.
I have since found fehrman knives, so busse can play there stupid little games.seems the busse bunch only makes one model at a time.cant get hold of scrap yard knives.its as though one has to have permission to buy or contact there royal highness. CS knives i dont like.
pity they are so hard to contact with.a friendly customer service is worth a lot in my opinion.SOG are very easy to contact with, and always reacting.CS did react also, but don't ask a second question
The concrete is a toughness and durability test.I'm not the first person to chop concrete with a knife and won't be the last. Busse combat has done live concrete chopping demonstrations to show the toughness and chipping resistance of their knives.
Why would I chop concrete with a Busse If I needed too. BECAUSE I CAN ! INFI is a great steel. Don't assume that because you don't no one else won't.
Also, many times snipers have to go through cinder block with a knife to make a hole to shoot through, it is actually a very realistic test that is commonly done on tactical utility knives.
What do you do with the broken/mauled knives? Stock them or discard?

that knife is very tough.that is VERY true.

@noss4 A soldier may also need to break a brick in a wall to make a sniper hole. Of course I would use the skull crusher pommel for this.
