Cool! Brianna Corrigan was still in the band for the video! I have loved these guys for years. Loved this CD...so many good songs. I was lucky enough to see them live in Chicago 2 or 3 times. Thanks for the memories on this one.

The band are laughing because Paul Heaton 'won the bet' by singing 'Old red END' (rudely) rather than 'Old red EYES'. Just watch his co singer unable to contain his laughter.

The original lyrics are "Old red he died" but here it sounds different.

In my opinion anyway it's more likely that he is singing something like "Old red then died", that makes more sense than "Old red end died".

brilliant - i loved this song..I guess it was all about the time in my life. Someone recently said he thought it was a very sad song, but wstill beautiful, like Stay (shakespeare's sister or with a sentimental twinge eg. bluebells..young at heart)

It's an incredibly sad song, but incredibly beautiful, too. It's probably my favourite lyric , telling a story and painting a picture of a character that is easy to see, and the crowd on this occasion are just plain stupid because they simply are not listening to Heaton's words.
