@katoeLAZARO I'll tell ya right now there expensive hobby uhh yeh during day humidity needs b at 80 to 85 temp like 75 to 80 i got a Exo Terra habitat kit the rainforest one there terrible at keeping humidity but get a fogger cuz i got to mist mine 3 2 5 times a day.. I've done alot of research on them there cool um oh once they get to 2foot or 3 ur gonna need a bigger custom Vivarium i plan on making one once he get older but right now ive invested 400 in already.

For your dragons sake, plz stop feeding prey that are XL for them to consume w/out stress. I have a water dragon & I have never feed him anything ">" a pinky. Maybe a rat pup, but thats about it. All of these videos I have seen with people feeding larger prey, than what the dragon can ingest in a proper sitting, have all ended w/ prey in bisection ingestion (1/2 in the mouth && 1/2 exposed). The Prey is blocking the Glottis, the lizard can barely breathe. Would you be able to swallow like that?
P.S. This Lizard is suffering from Mouth Rot. Those custard yellow/black stains are not the gerbils guts on it's teeth. You need to rinse w/ betadine (Q-tip and scrub) || take that specimen to the vet. I am sure HE has some kind of MBD pseudo-symptoms. Otherwise, there is a primary infection causing that mouth-rot as a secondary infection. Look after your animal, they are not just for entertainment. They need our help b/c they feel exactly what we do: Pain, Joy, Hunger, Sadness, Love. Get it !

@smalls2426 You know the reason why the lizard can't hold the gerbil in it's mouth b/c he is in pain from those awful teeth. This owner must have never had a cavity or dentist appointment to know how sensitive the enamel and gums are. Jerk!

@Spanishkidpr well if you have a female the spikes on their back do not really erect as much. But it depends on how long your water dragon takes to mature

@mbutch89 thanks you guys for the advice, hes not totally turning it down, he eats, just not alot. what kind of fruit to you reccomend? he likes worms, but its kinda annoying for me to hafta buy them and put them in his dish all the time. but ill do it if i have to.
