In fact the minus has been called, "poison glasses for children" -- by second-opinion ODs. Futher, there are children with confirmed 20/40 vision who are prescribed a -3 diopter lens for full time wear -- with no WARNING of its PROVEN EFFECT. This just "rips off" any "trust" you might have in these majority-opinion ODs. Were is the truth?
I would have been as blind as a bat without my glasses!! -3.5 and -4.0 with about 1.5 and 2.0 of astigmatizm.
The short sightedness led to retinal detachments and a macular hole. The treatment to repair these problems bought on early cataracts, which not only restricted the light and spectrum, but also made me more and more short sighted. I have had both cateracts replaced and now see reasonabley well.
I don't believe that not having glasses would have helped me at all.
I am not suggesting that no glasses are the answer either. Look at the journey you have been through. What have you learned about yourself as a result of your eyes "failing" you?
When one is under the control you are not always conscious of what is happening. Only much later does the true effect manifest itself. Congratulations on what you have now!

Anyone ever look into the Bates method?

@Splinter4077 Yes, and it is a wonderful way to help eye problems. This has been included into the EyeCode® approach.

wow, i never thought of that. i knew corrective lenses are bad for you, but using them for control could be tied in to the illuminati.
