I watched all 4 parts, this is a great memory jogger. I recalled that my ex recorded the whole night and that the tape is somewhere in a box either in a cupboard or somewhere else, I'll have to hunt it out sometime. Thanks, due to my ex and his habit of hidding things I havn't seen this in ages.
How fantastic! i completely forgot this existed. i remember watching it on a special red dwarf night on BBC2 when i was about 15! so good to see it again! thank you butterflyqueenuk Mwah X
Ironically I knew alot of the answers too. I think the reason why it seems rushed is because most of Red Dwarf is actually done for a live audience. Granted, normally they film it, then show it to them, but this one was a live show.
Chloe Annett must be lying about her age: on imdb her dob is 25 July 1971, but the clip from the 1972 YTV series, with Michael Gambon, clearly shows her as more than 16 months old.
@tigerboy1966 I'm not that good on kids' ages but I'd guess she's at least 3 years old here. So since this episode is from 1972, she was probably born in 1969, maybe even 1968. Michael Gambon wasn't much different back then though! (voice is exactly the same).
@96SmegHead IMDB says that episode's from 1972, I think they're more likely to be right about that than her date of birth. Sometimes there's conflicting info on the internet about some actors' ages.
I knew most of them, too, including all the answers to the directive questions. And yeah, it was droid rot! I had never heard of whatever they said it was, even if I didn't remember which head it was. Entertaining anyways, even if there were a few mistakes.
it was "Droid Rot" spare head 3 had! did the people who wrote the questions actually watch the show? there were so many mistakes. (i knew most answers lol)
Yeah I hear it now. I guess it doesn't help that, that scene is called "Droid Rot" and that the phrase "Silicon Rickets" doesn't actually show up in the subtitles. Plus the audience laughing kind of masks it
Thanks for posting - enjoyed that.

I absolutely love the mixture of confusion and offence on Craig's face at that point.

Thanks for the videos. It seems a long time since it was broadcast in 1998. I worked with Pip Swallow in December 2005 in a local pantomime.

Nichols is amazingly well-informed.
Anyone know what happened to her (or any of these super!fans) later in life? Living happy on these well-deserved moments of fame? Or...?

I was only 7 when this was first on and I don't remember anything about Red Dwarf night, lol. I didn't even know the show existed back then!

i dont remember anything about red dwarf night either, but i do remember watching some of the shows when i was little and being terifyed of kryten.
MystroTheDefender 3 years ago
You were terrified of Kryten? Lol! I think he's probably the least terrifying robot ever, lol, but I suppose to a child he could easily be!
SkeletonInABanana2 3 years ago 4
@SkeletonInABanana2 It was probably because of his weirdly-shaped head and face. Young children find things like that a bit unsettling.

xeddieizzardx 4 years ago
It's even worse than that, I researchrd the show, and it only ran for one year "1970" NOT 72 A year before she was supposedly born.
DjunKeep 4 years ago
That is from 70-72 sorry, that the show chloe was in "Kate" ran from
