Can someone tell me where this best legend, top singer, Princess of Pakistan lives in Canada? I want to see live once in my life, and kiss their hands and feet before I die! I've heard their songs and cried with us, and my childhood memories is alive again, as I was then 11 years old!
Musarrat Nazir please please send me a message !!!!!!!!
''...Yun he ek roz aapne Dil ks hisa bhee suna dena,...... ahista ahista nazar ahista ahista. Chale kat he jayega safar ahista ahista, ham uske paas jate tha magar ahista ahista.'' Bhi your songs, ghazaks, always have beautiful lyrics.Mussarat Nasir ji sings with ease and joy, with her lilting voice. She looks beautiful.
Thanks Miracle Cheecheepia.
Thanks Bhai for inrtroducing this beautiful singer with beautiful voice.Love. Didi.
Thanks for watching didi!!! She is very talented as a singer and was as a actress, I like the rhythm of the song and her voice is crispy like potato chips.Poetry is beautiful as you described and she's pretty too. Thanks again, regards:khalid
Musarrat married psychiatrist, Dr. Arshad Majeed and both of them settled in Canada in the mid 1960s.
Musarrat, who is 71, and in excellent health without a doubt, lives with her husband in Toronto, Canada. She has three children including Omar Majeed all of which are married and two have children of their own. She retired from the cinema years ago. However, she continued singing for the Pakistan television (PTV) up until recently. She is also an incredible cook.
@bahugunavk Thanks for the info, i think her daughter sitara works in canadian tv cbc's series " little mosque on the prairie " or may be i got wrong information. Thanks for watching.
No, she was Bengali but she could sing in any language with flawless command. Poor thing died at about 40 like Meena Kumari due to alcoholic damage to the liver. Tragic death-- some years after the suicide of her husband.( Actor-producer-director Guru Dutt was her husband).
!00% agree vipan ji what a rhythm, i love that and the pace of the rhythm and the guy who playing drum did amazing job and all the other musicians also played their part beautifully,What a great geet. Thanks for watching vipan ji!!
I love MN's voice and the rhythm of this song. In particular, the way she sings the refrain aahista, aahista is absolutely enchanting . Thanks for the treat, Khalidji.
Thanks for watching vipan ji!!! what a great tune and the rhythm as you described, All musicians did great job and the drum guy is amazing. She sung this very beautifully,Love this too.
There is another quality that strikes me in MN's singing here: a subtle sensuality essential to exuberant romantic songs. On the Indian side, Geeta Dutt seemed to project that quality with a similar subtlety.
