Gold River???!? Backroads?!? Its right off the highway. Thanks for postin g avideo of the island but when you said it was back road I figured cape scott area. Maybe even Cortez Ilsand or something. If you thing thisis back roads I suggest you look around the island a bit more.
Gravel roads are still considered back roads when they arent the main highway. when you have to cross rivers with no bridges, its pretty sufficient to say its back roads. how can you not respect what they did
I have been wanting to travel bc next fall how practical is cycling it seems like you would see a lot but also would be pretty hard core loads of pedaling.
I guess its now been about 4 years since this was posted, but good for you, I don't think I could make such an effort.
I was thinking that it must have been terrible to have all that dust to breathe with so many logging trucks rumbling past you.
