The LOD is nothing fancy, just a homebrew subdivision algorithm on a heightmap (which was the original purpose, I got a bit carried away with water, shadows and clouds ...).
Rendering uses a basic quadtree frustum culling.
I can't see why it would'nt work on a XBox, but I haven't tried.
The source is a bit messed up right now but I might share it once it's clean and stable again.

Nice huge terrain. Any chances to get source code? What LOD shame are you using? Is it working on xbox 360?
