palpatine, who knew about marek being vader's puppit all along, would never allow him 2 be an official apprentice 2 vader, defying the rule of 2. But allowed Marek 2 think he was, as well as the jedi who marek fought (to sell the deception). In reality once he learned he was just used, he'd be just considered a dark side adept (w/in a monarchy). Although he's da luckiest 1 having been trained as a sith in culture, religion & powers. after watching this it makes sense now vader trained galen to kill off the rest of the jedi masters so that the darkside wouldnt haft to worry about being overan by the light side ever again in vaders eyes galen was just the nail in the coffin to kill of the rest of the jedi order then once galen would be dead he could refocuse on his goal finding luke so that they could kill the emporor what vader didnt count on though was galen forming a rebellion against the empire that later destroyed it

as for zinkadesh, c'mon, what's to hate? Every SW major character's Jedi Master is unique. It's good they're all not molded the same. Each had their quirks & strengths from Qui Gon, Kota, Kriea, Jolee, Kenobi, Yoda, even Luke during the years after ROTJ. It wouldve been nice to see Master Kota in action leading his personal army during the Clone Wars.
