  • song at the end

  • Carl Sagan is gone. There's something terribly wrong about that.

  • - They are forcing us to become a planetary species.

-.......(hand).......Well that's.... interesting and......and, and I certainly agree with that......

  • @TheAntonioVC You totally got that one! I too thought that was worth seeing. (: Thanks dude!

  • @utoobasaurus I should thank you for the compilation ! Carl Sagan is the most popular and effective science divulgator, his work was really important by adding more public interest to cosmology and space matters also proposing thoughts about science itself. His wrtitting pieces are also great. That part really funny because of the interviewer's reaction to such important subject, obviously he didn't understand a thing about what Sagan was saying.

Thank you again for this great tribute ! :)

  • @TheAntonioVC You're very welcome my friend! It was a pleasure to keep his memory and good sense of humor alive! (:

  • Second thing on the first day, God made a pie. It was crumbly, but he saw that it was good.

  • not that way, not that way, not that way, LOL ! Excellent video Utoobasaurus!

  • Crumbly but good.

  • @Bullman85 Hahhhaahhaha... crumbly good comment!

  • Send me some tea too!

  • @mattysimsoficial And biscuits!

  • Hey I can do a somewhat eh impersonation of Dr. Sagan... Just sayin'

  • @charlieobcessed I can do it too, but only when my nose is plugged.... (:

  • THEY'RE visiting every second TOOBSDAY!

I wish I WAS at one of THOSE parties meself!!

  • @entropious88 I'll send you some of that tea matey!

  • Hahahaha...so good!

  • I do believe that he aged gracefully. I love that image at the end - where he smiles happily with full head of silver hair... And no conspiracy theories what so ever - such a brilliant way to live and enjoy life. Very empowering video mate.

  • @Mytallpalmtree Your point about his image in the end with no conspiracies what so ever?...I like that brother...I like that you see life like I do.......he did age gracefully........I see that for you too mate... enjoy! Calculo Correcto!

  • To invent sex U must create the U-niverse!

    Not that way

    Not that way

    Not that way

    hehehehe

No no no wait - If U wish to make an apple pie - U must be dreaming a bad dream about extra-terrestrials on every second Tuesday!

THIS IS THE BEST collection oot of the billion and billion of the Saganisms in the U-niverse!

This unique bundle of wit should be loaded onto the next space exploration vehicle to display how funny and intelligent we are! Then you'll see the aliens visiting!

  • CALCULO CORRECTO!

  • haha, he dreams about pocket watches spontaneously self assemble

  • 0:24 made me lol! xDD

  • hhahhahhaha

  • @vidstrika22 Thanks! I tried to find the best I could....but it's soooo hard because there's very little available. I'm glad you had a laugh!

    Eric

  • @utoobasaurus best carl sagan comedy

  • @vidstrika22 Carl should have been a comedian! Hahahahaha....I'd die laughing!

  • @utoobasaurus hey its me strika Just sayin grats on a gr8 vid ; )

  • @djhiphopstrika22 Calculo Correcto! :o)))

  • Who needs context, when it is so much funner without it.

  • this is hilarious!!!!

omg out of context sagan clips are so satisfyingly funny.

    More!

    Love you Carl!

  • That's the single worst apple pie of all time

  • @dsriggs Ha! Good one!

  • The music video is at the end I think VANGELIS.

  • Ha! I actually thought that this video was quite good. I'm surprised that it hasn't got a few more views. I think you made the right choice adding the big smiley faces to the title too, otherwise even more people might not have understood your good intentions. Even when it is only sound bites being taken out of context, Carl somehow still manages to sound profound. ;)

  • @wasdom01 Ha! Yes! I love Carl and it's so hard to find this stuff he says. It's all to honor Carl and have some fun. I don't think I've ever come across a video that was really made to hurt Carl. Good thing I used the smiley faces...lol...I can't imagine someone thinking my tribute to Carl was made with bad intentions. Really appreciate your support and understanding. Thank you!

  • 1. Invent Universe

    2. ???

    3. Apple Pie

  • @pigeontoucher I whish I could rate up more than once. :)

  • @blenderpanzi Very nice of you to say! Carl was...is...the best! :o)

  • smoke weed errrdayyyyy

  • Great compilation. I remember laughing at so many of the weird things he said while watching Cosmos. My family was glued to the TV every week!

  • i love you man!

  • LMFAO I love Carl Sagan and this video is hilarious! Great work :)

    (◕‿◕)

  • Taken out of perspective it sounds funny, but those were just Carl's intriguing ways of explaining things.

  • @Biddybalboa lol, totally agree! Although the tea party thing?...sounds like he indulged on occasion. lol

  • anybody know the music at the end of the video?

  • @hian I did know, I will find out for you.

  • @utoobasaurus Thanks a lot in advance :D

  • @hian The song is Alpha by Vangelis.

  • @hian It's Alpha from Vangelis, a theme very common in the "Cosmos" series :)

  • @hian Alpha by Vangelis

  • @hian alpha - vangelis

  • Hahaha, this man rules, and so does this vid. Great work!

  • @buttermilch1989 lol, thanks! It's hard to find stuff on Carl like this...there's not much out there. It was a labor of love though. I appreciate the kind review! :o)

  • I HATH INVENTED THE UNIVERSE ALL HAIL MY GLORIOUS UNIVERSE-BAKING POWER!

  • @AthosAmo

I am not saying your a Creationist nor an evolutionist... just that you have precisely explained what the majority of Creationists/Evolutionists tend to do at times, and that is make their own interpretation on a valid piece of evidence and claim to have the only answer... it becomes that situation of where you have one event and 10 (or how ever many) witnesses and get slightly, or even completely different testimonies from each one.

  • @AthosAmo

There is an important factor you're conveniently overlooking: the quantity and quality of evidence. There is an enormous quantity of compelling and, quite frankly, conclusive evidence of evolution. All of the predictions made by this theory are fulfilled. Also, there is no other plausible explanation for the evidence we see - and certainly none that are as solidly backed by observation.

  • billions and billion of...

  • @BuddyWillis Now it's...trillions and trillions :o)

  • What to macroevolutionists is Sagan, to Republicans is Reagan.

    Just Sa'an.

  • @AthosAmo And Sa'an is right brother!

  • @utoobasaurus I am supposed to believe in the unseen and untested? That's the very thing people like you want people like me to not do!

I take it I'm supposed to assume like other sheep that micro + time = macro. It works on paper, but I can compare that to the hypothetical of an alien having observed a schoolboy's growth and assuming that as an adult he will continue growing without limits. There are limits. I'm eager to believe I'm scum's descendant, but I need science, not interpretations.

  • @AthosAmo I have no idea what you're talking about.

  • @utoobasaurus I assumed you meant that Sagan is right (about macroevolution) when you responded to me. So I was like "no."

  • @AthosAmo Ahhhh...I see. No problem. Thank you.

  • @utoobasaurus Okay..... See ya then....

  • @AthosAmo

What aspects of macroevolution have you not seen scientific evidence for?

  • @taicleis There is evidence for nearly any claim if you just interpret accordingly. For example, there is evidence that a chimera lives in the moon. That evidence is a shadow in a moon landing photo interpreted to be the chimera curled up. So, I know that macroevolution has much evidence for it which is interpreted to support it. But it has no proof.

  • @AthosAmo "There is evidence for nearly any claim if you just interpret accordingly."

If you're completely science-illiterate. But as taicleis said before, it's a matter of the quality and quantity of evidence. Evolution has many different pillars of evidence all pointing to the same evolutionary tree of life on the same time-scale, and each pillar is linear with its respective field (the fossil record with geology, genetics with chemsitry, etc). Chimera living on the moon has no such thing.

  • "i've been to a few of those parties myself"
