  • Ok so um I never understood why he just went crazy at the end, dissing his son or well orphan as he told him. And than just killing this dude while at the same time basicaly calling them accidents and after births

  • @downRiGhtkrazy

He killed Eli because he hated him and had nothing left in his life. He felt betrayed by his son because he thought his son was now competing with him.

  • This reminds me of Ludwig Van Beethoven lol

  • i know about this film it's when Eli and Daniel where both enemies and Eli's really pour and wants money off Daniel coz he's rich and has oil in his land love this film to peices :DDD

  • @maisiedanodoo the fact that you can't spell 'poor' right shows how little you picked up from this film, just seeing it as a generic class struggle

  • @iceguy0077 i just made a mistake y'know i did see the film before i just spelt poor wrong

  • @maisiedanodoo still if that's what you got from the film you missed a lot

  • @iceguy0077 ok you got me i did miss a bit and i kinda overeacted i'm not that good at making this film self explanitary

  • Spectacular

  • Seriously, could the Russian translation of "I'm finished" really be that long?

  • @TBarrett12

No, it says who prepared the release of that pirated version ;D

  • @TBarrett12 hahaha do you really think they use a female to translate the voice of a male? lmao

  • I felt so betrayed when the movie finished and my girlfriend was covering her eyes after seeing Eli's mutilated head and saying "THAT WAS TERRIBLE!!"

  • @TheDirectorofFoo What made this movie so awesome is it didn't follow some kind of Hollywood formula with a happy and logical conclusion. It ended like real life does--not necessarily with any logical and or happy conclusion. This movie was about its characters, which were fascinating and convincingly portrayed. The sheer brilliance makes up for any shock people like your girlfriend may have felt at the end.

  • 8 false prophets...

  • Fuck, I love this.

  • The choice of music is really clever here, for the general population always think of oil men as those extremely rich happy individuals who have everything. The general population think of a man like Danial as somebody who spends most of his time going to ballades and social gathering. However in reality, we, the actual viewers of the movie, see a wealthy man who was destroyed by his own wealth and greed! It's a subtle commentary on the upper class life.

This movie is truly a masterpiece.

  • Seriously? A lady talking in Italian over that dope music cue? For shame.

  • @totallyslutsky It's russian and is there because I cut it from a pirated file lol

  • JHC!!! Why can't there be one copy of this epic scene from the movie on youtube without some sort of distortion or interruption?!

  • lol the credits sound so happy and cheerful while the movie is anything but ^_^

  • wtf why is there some random itilian being spoken during this?

  • This scene is the clasic depiction of my daily routine

  • @yourass117 ~ hilarious!!!!!!
