@TheAmazingamerica, I'm not sure only Christians died but I have heard that Jews did not die in the numbers Christians did and even Christians in towns with large Jewish populations fared better. My speculation is maybe Jewish people were a bit more sanitary, and if they represented a larger part of the population may have influenced their neighbors. I think that would be a topic worth further checking.

The black plague could be killed with soap and water but only rich could afford it then. Fleas were what caused the black plague.

From estimates I have read about 1/3 of the European population was lost as a result of the Plague. I'm sure some rich people were lost as well as poor.

Regardless, this is pretty unusual stuff for a rock and roll band.

not to be rude but it was 75% of the population that was lost if sone rich survived they had to work on the fields when the peasents died
