its not hard to get a sound, but it takes a long time to learn circular breathing (months for some) but its not hard after you been doing it for a while.

I've also heared aboriginals say that's rubbish and you'll find this belief only in the southern regions, where the didgeridoo wasn't played until about 100 years ago. Traditionally only men were allowed to play at ceremonies, but in an informal setting women were also allowed to play. There are many tribes and equally many traditions.
