  • its funny how he talked so much about facial expressions, yet he hardly ever makes any :/

  • lol........babble babble babble

  • its hard to believe that that guy there. that easy-going, junner wearing, funny, normal guy. Has more money than i'll ever dream of

  • 3 dislikes = 2 winklevosses and 1short friend

  • I didn't think he did it for women when i saw the movie. i got that he wanted to make something awesome for the world

  • such a nerd!

  • What he says about the disconnect between Hollywood and Silicon Valley is true, but it cuts both ways. Hollywood can't wrap their heads around the fact that people like him are motivated to build things because they want to, and he can't wrap his head around the fact that Aaron Sorkin wasn't writing a docudrama--he was trying to tell a great modern story with classic foundations. In this interview and others he's condescending towards the storyteller, which, ironically, partly proves Aaron right

  • King George VI beat his A*** in the Oscars I see!!! hahah

  • I love how everytime the girl looks at the camera, the person holding it moves it away

  • Totally facebook - /watch?v=XvwK-3cQ6gE

  • brilliant

  • Love this guy so much. =')

  • he said that exact same thing about the imaginary girlfriend and silicon valley in another video/interview... word for word.

  • In the world withouit geeks and nerds there is no Facebook or Windows..!!

  • @CHABOTKID2008 Actually, now it belongs to the venture capitalists who gave him $XXX,XXX,XXX.XX. so that everyone can say it's worth $XX billion. If he can come up with a second act then it will belong to him. Say it's a another dotcom bubble and sell short after you take it for a healthy walk around the park. Let it breathe deep during your walk - but once you are back at your doorstep, sell it. Facebook is just a louder more sale-able version of the market research industry.

  • I really like what Mark says about Hollywood's view of Silicon Valley. Hollywood can't fathom the fact that people in silicon valley are just plain smart and they like to build things - it is a means in and of itself. Intelligent people are driven to create rather than simply to consume.

  • @timothyheile I don't think Mark really understands his own character in the movie. The girl in the movie was just a driving force that gave him an idea for the facesmash that started it all really.

  • Wow..... he actually would need no less than 50 billion dollars to keep a blond chick interested in him.

  • I love how the guy filming tries to hide the camera from the interviewer when she looks :P Funny stuff

  • the greatest nerd learns to give interviews

  • LA HISTORIA ES REAL,ESTA BASADA EN UN LIBRO LLAMADO.BILLONARIOS POR ACCIDENTE..Y ESTE A SU VEZ ESTA BASADO EN UNA SERIE DE ENTREVISTAS QUE EL AUTOR DEL LIBRO HIZO A LOS "AMIGOS" DE LA UNIVERSIDAD DEL GEEK Y FUNDADOR DE FACEBOOK, ENTRE ELLOS EL CO- FUNDADOR:EDUARDO SAVERIN,QUE DEMANDO HASTA SER RECONOCIDO OFICIALMENTE COMO CO-FUNDADOR,EL PERFIL TRAICIONERO Y VENGATIVO DEL FUNDADOR SE LO HICIERON PSICOLOGOS EN EL JUICIO,Y ESTE A SU VEZ ELEMINO DE SUS SERIES FAVORITAS UNA DEL MISMO AUTOR DEL LIBRO

  • MUY BUENA PELICULA LA DE "SOCIAL NETWORK" O "RED SOCIAL" SE DEMUESTRA COMO UN GEEK, DE PERFIL PISCOLÓGICO: TRAICIONERO,ANTISOCIAL E INSENSIBLE, TOMO UNA IDEA DE GENTE QUE SI ERA SOCIAL Y ACEPTADA, LA TRANSFORMO LA ADAPTO Y LA LANZO COMO IDEA PROPIA, HACIENDO A UN LADO A SUS AMIGOS CON TAL DE SENTIRSE SOCIALMENTE ACEPTADO POR MILLONES DE PERSONAS QUE HOY USAMOS...FACEBOOK.

  • @richysmart shut the fuck up, bitch!

  • I liked the secrecy around the camera...

Only the miss caught up with you at the end...

  • this is a quite general summary. let's be honest - mark was "tuned" towards programming and designed a site that gives people the chance to "meet" each other.

not such a big deal if u ask me, despite the money people are willing to spend on a this machinery that actually disconnects people in real life.

"well done." from a programmers point of view.

"nothing special" from any clever persons point of view.

  • Mark looks way nervous :)

  • great quality and sound. wish you did the whole interview tho. thanks alot!

  • Sweet, thanks for sharing!
