Can some one who grew up in the South during the 90's answer me this was Outkast more important, as important, or less important then rappers like Pac,Big,Nas,Snoop,Jay,Pun,L to y'all during this era of the 90's
ive grown up with outkast. i remember being seven or 8 years old and i couldnt stop listening to hey ya and roses. speaker boxxx and the love below was the first album i ever bought. now im 14 and i still love them. ill be a fan of them and have much respect for them until the day i die. i have so many good memories.
i remember this album when my dad used to play outkast and almost every old school rapper in his car when i was little and now im 15 and i know about all of this goodness lol :) and now i use these artist as my influence to make my music aswell as some good new school rappers like j. cole, kendrick lamar, xv, hopsin, and drake...... Im from the south aka Atlanta.....
Andre influences me so much, I want ya'll to hear "LimeLite" on my page.. not trying to Spam my shit on Outkast, but these nigggas held it down, I'm trying to bring it that level again..
timeless.. everytime i hear this song i cant help but play it over again. brings me into the song and i cant back out. one reason why outkast is one of the best ever. thank you.
"Now Suzy Screw had a partner named Sasha SASHA Thumper THUMPER I remember her number like the summer - When her and Suzy threw a slumber - Party but you cannot call it that cuz it was slummer."
@jamekididdleshmiddle i guess u can pretty much compare hip hop to andres verse on this song....when we were younger he enjoyed the art of hip hop. as time went by shes changed, shes gone through abuse and neglect....and now...shes dead.
fuck yeah cant wait till summer this reminds me of summer
