I started snowboarding three years ago and i managed to pick up 8 sponsors so far. Im not the greatest rider out there but when it come time to have fun, thats when the everybody is focused and knows why i have these companies behind my back. What im getting at is you dont have to be amazing to go pro, just have fun what your doing and dont worry about what others say

Ive been snowboarding 3 years and this is my 3rd season but my first season i only went 5 times then last season i only went basically 20 times and this is my 3rd and ive already gone 20 times :) I wanted to get sponsored for a while but then i was like screw it snowboarding is just about fun!

@burton4snowboarding Yeah last season was just awesome. Even though I live on the east coast in Maine the conditions aren't too great all the time but I usually just make the best out of it and fool around. I basically lived at the mountain this year too because one of my parents was one of the managers for the mountain so I basically snowboarded every weekend from open till close (8-10 usually)..It sucks though when the season had to end but I can't wait till next season!

ya i was a pro since i was 14. its not easy but avoid as many injuries as possible and compete in as many snowboard contests as possible and add up the sponsores and ull be a pro rider before you know it.

is it possible to make a living out of it in like 1-2 years? to be honest i just started snowboarding but i was doing heels to toes within 2 hours and on my 2rd day i was able to do most of the runs shown on this video fairly well. if i get more practice i can get a lot better.

um to be a pro requires u to be able to do backflips and frontflips on a daily bases. i started riding wen i was 3 and i got sponsored at 14. now im 24. and i can double backflip and i can stick some tens on the pipe

Wow, I love Homewood. Glad to see some other people do too. Too bad they've been bought out though, and are now planning to develop the shit out of the place. Condos all over the South Lot, etc. (Although I do love the new quad chair.)

whats the midwest? anyway here in the west theres great pow i live on vancouver island canada bc and we got 200 cms more than whistler which is the largest and highest rated mountain in north america! we got 439 cms right now but awsome vid keep shreding

Homewood is my favorate resort. However, we live closer to Diamond Peak, so we go there. WEve been going to Boreal this year because its the only resort thats been open so far up until now. Boreal pails in comparison to homewood. If you like jibbing...then Boreal is kewl like dat!

I agree with you. Kirkwood is the best. It's the hidden gem of California. Went there NINE times last season and last season wasn't even COMPARABLE to the season before where 800 inches of snow was dumped! I miss the snow. Let's all hope it starts again soon yeah?! And there's MORE snowfall than last season.

naw dude, i'd say homewood is a fantastic place, but kirkwood is the best. it has different shapes and types of runs, and it's biiig. homewood is decent, and i go there every year, but i prefer kirkwood. not baggin on you by the way, just wanted to put my opinion out there, ya know?
