  • Thanks !

  • Love the rig. AND the mechanics of it. My next go-around will implement a tumbling system. Try throwing some dry ice in that tumbler, and reduce your screen down to 100 micron mesh, or so. Peace.

  • Ok, I already have a kief sifter. You can still extract hash from the leaves or buds even after you get the kief from it. I have been making oil, but now I want to make some bubble hash, hopefully without buying the bags.

  • very interesting i hope you had fun cause its definitly the most complicated way ever to get kief from your clippings. but sure looks like you had fun building it haha

  • God bless the American hillbillies.

  • cool video, now i just need some tool skills and i can get started!

  • very cool build...should have flap that hugs top of wheel so you dont lose anything.

  • nice toons!!!

  • what about the thc flying into the air...its all wasted, theres a reason pp,l make these tthings

  • does it double as a rock tumbler?

  • Place it on the bottom of your deep-freeze when you run it.

  • great guitar jams

  • what is the first tune and who is playing please? cheers

  • great fucking song choice

  • 3:24......use cabinet as brake. ROTFLMAO!!!!!

  • you could put a squirrel in there.

  • as the drum is not enclosed a lot the pollen becomes airborne & gets wasted, all of the commercial bought models are enclosed in a box of sorts, for a reason

  • @palmer3977 i agree looks like there would be a lot of excess waste along the top, and probably on the floor too.

  • I don't understand how you open and close the door for your tumbler.

  • Whats the last song called?

  • y is it ghetto productions if its for hillbillies O. o And weed doesnt always have to be ghetto

  • the music sucked dick.!!

  • @demmylowther you only make low grade hash with 5 bags. you need at least 7 bags to get any kind of quality from that outdated, wasted labor stupid bag system

  • some call this being hill billy....i call it being smart.

  • Fuck yea man great tunes. about time i did not hear rap playing in background of cannabis related Vids , hIll billy ? man that is so brilliant !

  • Consider that a Job Well Done. Kudo's, bro.

  • How do you explain this to the wife ?

  • @Arckitekt - carefully

  • if your hamster gets fat, put him in there and make it jump hurtles!

  • put small shards of dry ice in there, together with a couple of small rocks together with the trim/weed, that really makes it go fast, and you get less plant material, and more tricomes :)

  • nice machine but i would recommend that you make rugged edges so that when it spins it will give it a shake and will help the process get you more of the good stuff =}

  • hillbilly genius

  • 2 paint buckets, silk screen, and a hand sander. Cut hole in one bucket, place screen on uncut bucket and then press other bucket on top. Will be about 4 inch cavity between screen and bottom bucket. then suspend sander from ceiling wrapping cord around bucket handle! throw your trim in, turn on sander, voila!Processed 100's of lbs this way!

  • @simplesarahbean Great idea! How long does the process take?

  • Very nice. I just found most of these supplies laying around my garage and a slow rev rock tumbler of craigslist for 10 bucks...looks like a project just found me.

  • I was diapointed to see you didnot ma ke the small eletric engine it would take forever to do this

  • why dont you use a salad spinner

  • Great build! Please tell where to buy the 145 micron stainless mesh. Thanks

  • This isn't a bad idea. I'm partial, though, to the reciprocating (shaking back and forth) screen method, though. Found a great source (inexpensive and domestically produced) for stainless mesh. Now to find a surplus motor and get to work on my "shake box" (hahaha; that's punny!). All the best!

  • i think its amazing&even more amazing considering it looks like youv only got 1 hand!lol

  • Good bit of kit . fair play to ya . ignore the idiots comments .

  • did jjmgyver quit makin vids?

  • very good idea

  • @demmylowther People who like building things ;)

You always find time for your hobbies...

    Nice purchase anyway

  • @demmylowther Because building stuff is fun...you probably don't know about that though...

  • @demmylowther If you're full time job really takes up THAT much of your life and you have no time to have a hobby, I think you're a loser. I work full time and I still have time to build things and explore my creative side. People like Doc are the kind of people that make innovative things that one day you'll be spending your "full time" money on one day. People who use basic materials and create something useful on their own. Edison didnt want a kerosene lamp he wanted a light bulb. Good work!

  • @demmylowther OR he did this on his weekend

  • @demmylowther youre one of those lazy ass stoners with no mechanical know how or aspirations, but some people actually get more benfit from knowing that they actually made the effort to build something rather than just buying it,for me its much more satisfying.

  • @demmylowther damn dude what is with all the hate?

  • @demmylowther somebody isnt happy with the way their life turned out

  • @demmylowther You're a fucking idiot.

  • @demmylowther honeslty i doubt ur even smart enough to build somthing u just do some job that somone showed you how to do

  • Wow, not bad at all - there is so much more satisfaction out of building something like this yourself than buying one premade (unless you get a good deal) - Keep on building!

  • Is the threaded rod just spinning there in the pocket of sheet metal above the collection tray? Is it producing any metal dust? I would run a rare earth magnet thru the kief after collection, theres a awful lot of galvanized sheet metal around, that stuff aint good for you.

  • boringgggggg ZZZZZzzzzzZZZZZzzzzzZZZZZZzzzzZZZZZ

  • 5*s way to use your noodle!

  • There are some filters for auto painters from 3M that's just spot on the microns ... ; )

  • @doldei yeah but they only work for bubble hash

  • Who says hillbillies are dumb.... ???

  • Cool vid!

  • Aloha european frinds who watch this..

Jysk got some textiles that can be used as filters! (jysk = danishes bettenlager)

Look up my channel and watch what i build from parts/stuff/crap that i had in my house, and a visit to Jysk..

    Cost: about 1 or 2 US$

  • @mandoleene i bet his tastes 5x nicer....

  • @mandoleene dont be such a hater goof , this is a great idea

  • @mandoleene

    always one....

  • Where do i get the screen??

    Been looking all over..

  • try it at the Art supply or ask companies how print on t-shirts or similar where they get it from.

  • Aloha...

    Thank you kindly for reply..

I found some yesterday by total accident :)

Cost a bit but its "just around the corner" from where i live..

Íve made one, but my first try was not a succes, my choce of motor was running maybe 10000 rpm (dont know)..

A simple dimmerswitch was the answer.

Im on the drawingboard with my V.2 right this moment. Just needed some inspiration.

    Thanks again

  • your welcome,

how much did it cost aprox?

  • Aloha

Got a piece at aprox 20" by 80" to about 70$

Converted from my country currency to dollars.

I truely dont know if its a lot or not, but i kind of dont care, i got me a very big homemade hashmachine, to about 100$. It takes roughly 45 pounds of harvest in the barrel.

    Big mahalo nui loa

  • eine spitzen sache was für bastler jha.

  • cool video
