@xkillyouallx Hard to label this band really. Wouldn't quite call them "melodic hardcore" because there are more straightforward & heavy parts than melodic parts. Encounter is definitely not an emo band but if you think about what was going on in hardcore at this time, it isn't unfair to imagine some of those bands had influenced them. After all, members went on to play in emo band Rain Still Falls.
