Try working for them... You don't make any money without the Service Agreements, but our techs make us look retarded, or like geniuses because we know more about the products than they do...
Worked for them. They treat their people poorly, and their customers the same. Promise them everything as long as they're giving a check. Then, give them nothing in return. They service the customer alright. Bring you're vaseline.
CIRCUIT SHITTY LIKE CUSTOMER DISSERVICE....DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME....GET BETTER PRICES ON AMAZON....NO TAX OR SHIPPING. SEARS WANTED 170.00 FOR THE SAME FUCKING GEARWRENCH SET....PLUS TAX OF COURSE! AMAZON 105.00 NO TAX OR SHIPPING. PUT THESE CROOKS OUT OF BUSINESS....THEY ARE RIPPING OFF CUSTOMERS TO PAY FOR THAT TACKY, OVER-THE-TOP ABC EXTREME HOME MAKEOVER SHIT. FUCK THOSE PEOPLE....WHY SHOULD I PAY FOR THEIR EXISTANCE? AMAZON BABY AMAZON....BYE BYE SEARS!
SEARS EMPLOYEES ARE TOTAL RETARDS AND COULD NOT SCREW IN A LIGHTBULB WITH A VIDEO AND A MANUAL. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE BLOWS LIKE A CHARLIE SHEEN WHORE WITH A TIGER BLOOD INJECTION!
If you google "sears sucks", you will get dozens of websites featuring countless horror stories of customer disservice, lousy product quality, questionable business ethics, boorish employee behavior, and promises to never ever ever buy from sears again ever EVER! Now google "sears is great" or "I like sears" or anything positive like that and you get NOTHING!
Yea I dont get the issue walk your ass into a Sears parts and service center they got a ton of snowblower parts in there centers you will save a ton of time and cash. If they dont got it on hand they can get it 7,000,000 parts.......does home depo have a parts center??? No they dont. people are just to damn slow now days PS, yes it's not your fathers Sears the company offers more now.
Look hard enough and you'll see similar complaints from any retailer. I'm sorry you were a victim of circumstance (a bad technician) . I've had EXCELLENT service from Sears. Had nothing 'really" wrong with my treadmill... called them out for a "preventative maintenance check" and the tech realized that the motor was wearing out.... and some parts had to be lubricated... but because I had the protection thing from Sears.. all that was free. And I still get a free checkup annually.
The only way to get help from Sears is to call their executive offices at 1-800-995-2139 They keep this number hidden for their most escalated calls.
Sears ripped me off my wife in 2005 by replacing a two months old battery and when I went over there to complain why they changed the battery they showed me a rotten battery. Since 2005 I have not bought a singe dime merchandise from Sears. The best punishment is not to deal with those who do unethical methods of businesssssss
wow, that's weak. You have one problem, and the world is coming to an end!! They fixed my washer, same day and within 48 hours of calling. It's people like you that have made all retailers tighten their rules.
@SuperSteelerman123 Wow, that's great. They did seem serious about improving things when I talked to them on the phone about the video. Last month, I talked to an experienced laid-off Sears Technician and he said they are training people to bring Service back from Contractors.
Sears hire independent contractors and has become a burdensome neaucratic suck on the treasury fed reserve pile of retail consumer bubble economy shit run by imbeciles and people who "follw" the line its abused and distorted they thin "customer service" is absurd and hyper aggressive sell tactics that are mindless stupid never work all based on the assuming the sale bullshit that has put actual customer service ont he back burner also too many departs and divs no streamline
Bought a garden tractor ($3000)end of last Sep,used twice,it was end of the season.1st time, I noticed I had to turn the steeling wheel to right to keep it going straight. I thought I got 1year warranty, I would call service next spring when I use it again. Today I was told that I should call right away, now I had to pay for the service and part. They don't even bother to diagnose the problem, just told me " the 1 year warranty won't cover it!" I don't understand this, what i should do. SUCKS!!
That does suck. My snowblower cost roughly half that and had a 2 year warranty and Sears did come to the house to fix it once during that time (with a Tech who knew what he was doing). I guess those were the good 'ol days of Sears.
Why not Yo Yo Yourself?! I will help out anyone who downloads my single from iTunes. If you have a legitmate Customer Service issue with any company (not just Sears), I can help you get a video together and blast it out the same Social Media channels I used.
lol, a year old tractor giving you major problems. that sucks, horrid quality. im still using a 1971 john deere 112 garden tractor and i mow, plow, and use a pto driven tiller. i doubt your sears doesnt even have a true pto driven tiller available. probably one those bs units with a seperate engine. the old stuff is much better
In the future look up donyboy73 on Youtube. He shows in depth videos on fixing and maintaining snowblowers. I watched his videos and knew exactly how to chande a friction disk and bearing before I turned my machine over. Your video was great!
I did look through his videos but I could not find the exact same issue. He did discuss the different bolt types and showed the reverse of my issue. He showed what happened when you put a strong bolt on the auger, it rips the gearbox. My problem was a weak bolt on the axel, it shears in minutes. Thanks for the heads up on the videos though - I will likely try fixing problems myself again next time.
@llpumper If your mom (or the company she works for) was able to provide Customer Service one of the many times I called - I would not have made a video. Nothing in my song can be refuted. Since you started your comment with 'you suck', I suggest you look up 'refuted' in the dictionary.
we used to have more control a couple of years back. we used to be able to take care of customer issues in store but they took that away from us. if you would have bought the PA you probably wouldn't have had to fix it. every year you have it there's a yearly inspection that prevents anything from happening. sears has good techs but there are a couple of bad seeds out there like almost most places. you just didnt have good luck. I sell sears kitchen appliances in Arizona.
@marcometer A couple years back I did actually have a good experience with a Sears snowblower Tech, that's why I called them again! Looks like things have declined since then. If I would have bought the Protection Agreement, I would be stuck with the same Tech. Between using incorrect parts and suggesting unecessary techniques, it seems like a dangerous game to play with something attached to an 11 horsepower engine!
@chernmax Thanks, you have a wicked sense of humor. When I asked if I could use you in the Intro, I bet you weren't expecting the dishwasher humping segment ;-)
LOL I was expecting it but it looked somewhat funnier to me now! I also sent your VID to my friends and they dig it also... Like your problem mine is legit too, I just hate when dumbasses get up and post stupid shit without reading the background info. Not to mention Sears took MY hard earned money, made me a bunch of promises, screwed it all up and I'm the bad guy. LOL freaking Liberals!!!
