ancient hellenes had excellent navy skills and technology,therefore swimming was known to most of them since we were being called nautical civilisation

How do these guys manage to hold their breath for so long?
If it was me doing that, trying to set up traps underwater, I would probably being drowning in 45 secs swimming in my tighty whities.
