very beautifull! best form i ever saw of kung fu .and i saw a lottt! he mastered it like a true master :D if anyone has more of kungfu like this plz tell me! btw its from the documentairy of jet li this is kung
i am currently studying a simular form to this one in china, i practice it around 10 times a day, and if i make a wrong move then i have to repeat until shifu is happy, to watch a real master do these forms in front of you is amazing, you can really see where the power comes from.
I concur, infact it could have been faster by a Skilled Master!!!! You have to practice at this form 3 times a day everyday to get speed such as that!!!!
No it's not modern wushu, it's traditional, and no, it's not sped up, yes, one can be this fast, flexible and accurate (after decades of shaolin training)
Shi de Yang is one of THE most prominent 31st generation Shaolin - His stances are stronger than a whole school or temple at any time! LOL The man is hard! And yet, very soft and discipline.
hmmm. was that video sped up? it seemed kinda fast... pretty cool, tho. and that stance at the end - that was beautiful how his legs were parallel w/ the ground!
Awesome form by Grand Master Shi De Yang, however, it is surely not Da Hong Quan...

It clearly wasn't sped up because the cloth falls and belt sways appropriately to gravity.
