Jesus? There never was a guy named Jesus. The word we have for Jesus is a corruption of the Greek name Iousous. As for if he was real? I don't know. I think so, but not the way the bible says. With all the radicals in that era, I'd probably end up chasing after the wrong guy.
haha, oh geeze... ya, I dunno about people knowing how to dress in the 80's, but I think people had a lot more taste in clothes anywhere between the late 60's and late 70's. plus, after that they pretty much stopped making bell bottoms for guys. not really sure why clothes have anything to do with why I'd like to back to that era, but hey...
on another note, if you find a way to go back in time, let me know so I can tag along... 'cause I don't do so well at fitting into the here and now.
I wasn't a big fan of bell bottoms, myself. I like clothes that proportionally fit all over. The jeans were good in the 80's, the jackets, the shirts...people actually washed their hair!! Yup, 80's was the time. :)
2) just about everyone knew how to at least play something on a guitar.
3) I'd be able to see the Beatles/Led Zeppelin live before half their members passed away.
4) the entire mentality of that era. too much about that to put in detail here.
if it was easier to find clothes that matched that era, I'd probably go all out and become a hippie (lol)... though I don't know of any pro-war hippies, so that could be a problem.
ya, I think my first point is totally a matter of opinion... as for your playing guitar, ya, I've heard about that once or twice. something about your playing something you wrote for all of us? it's been so long, I can't really remember when I heard that (j/k :D)...

Why would you go back to that era?
I'll take you if I find a way. Cheers!!

pretty much in this order-
1) hands-down, the best music was created then.
2) just about everyone knew how to at least play something on a guitar.
3) I'd be able to see the Beatles/Led Zeppelin live before half their members passed away.
4) the entire mentality of that era. too much about that to put in detail here.

That would be a problem, Mate. Ha ha Ha.
I disagree with you on the first issue. The best music is made in my shower. But I can see why you'd rather go to the 60's and 70's.
I would have loved to see the Beatles and Zeppelin in concert. Both were amazing bands. I can play guitar. YaaY!!
