Its embarrassing to be a human being, when so many other human beings would shrug off this kind of thinking simply because of a book that their parents forced upon them, or simply because they are too afraid or stupid to live without superstitious beliefs.

I love Hitchens. I haven't heard any updates on his health but from the way it looks he's still on chemo but his voice sounds great. I hope he wins his battle with cancer and continues fighting the good fight for another 30 years or so.
