  • I dare someone to find me the music that starts at 5:22 I know what it's called but I can't find online anywhere.

  • This is a really good summary, but I'm surprised you left out the Evil Ed stuff and the disco scene. Those were a few key plot points.

  • is this actually how the original one was...a bunch of cut-to-cut scenes with no developing chronological story?dont get me wrong..theres obviously a story here..im just a litttle confused is all..

  • @slmanrashid Orrrrr cracke.cOm

  • great movieeeeeeeeeee

  • @1billias

    I agree! =)

  • Anyone see Marcy Darcy in the background at 1:14 ?

  • @pulkmees

Yes, indeed Amanda Bearse, is the Marcy Darcy of the famous series "Married with Children" (1987) and also the Amy of "Fright Night" (1985).

  • anyone else think that billie cole (the galom) that lives with the vampire looks like kourtney kardashians douchebag husband scott?....LOL

  • @ThinCrustPizza6

Watching him carefully, you're right, there is great similarity between the two.

  • guess i'm one of the few who actually like the remake. missed the orig movie growing up, but i can understand the devotion to it by those who saw it when it came out back in the day.

  • @kkmatt

Indeed, you are one of the few who recognize admits he likes the remake. It's a shame that the remake has not been received as the orginal film.

  • On the old vs the new. One Jerry is more smooth and one more ruthless. The 1985 Jerry actually got invited in the house and more enjoyed psychologically messing with his victims. The 2011 Jerry couldn't get invited in, so he just burned the house down.

  • @Mimasfriend

Yes, the new film is full of action and CGI, but the original version has the classic elements of vampire movies, and this must be added other factors such as OST and interpretation of the actors.

  • Jerry Dandridge is one cool mother fcker.....BTW, the New Fright night sucks balls.

  • @sj0bs1

I agree with the Chris Sarandon's talent, but respect to the remake, I think it could have been better.

  • great movie and Ragsdale is SO cute!

  • @MrTevB

I agree, it's a great movie. And by the way I think that Ragsdale is understimated by the american film industry.

  • @The7thCreator

I remember William Ragsdale in 'Herman's Head' too...and I agree he's an excellent actor and he's cute too...even more so now as he's grown older..Like Brendan Fraser who's also a wonderfully versatile actor who can take on action/adventure roles such as The Mummy..comedy..George of the Jungle...& drama...Crash...God's & Monsters & The Quiet American...and he's a good looking dude too...hope Ragsdale gets to shine a bit more too..

  • 2 vampires disliked :)

  • @seanpatrickcain2

Your comment is so curious! Possibly, they're two vampires.

  • What lol oh gosh i cant let my daughtet see that but i want to take a peak where can i find him

  • @SophiaRMogulMovement

I don't understand you. Can you explain it, please?

**I think this movie is endearing. I think it's a movie with a very particular plot and composition that leave a trace in the viewers.

I'm not fluent in French so you must excuse the mistakes I have.**

  • Where is Evil ed now? My daughter loves him

  • @SophiaRMogulMovement

If your sister likes this character, she has the film to enjoy him.

  • @SophiaRMogulMovement He does porn now

  • @SophiaRMogulMovement PARA MI FUE ESTA LA MEJOR ,,,,NO COMO LA VERSION DE AHORA ...POR QUE ANTES EL TERRORO ERA TERROR ......ME UQEDO CON LA VERSION DE 1985....thenqio

  • @SophiaRMogulMovement

Sorry to have to tell you,but he is a gay porn actor now.

  • he gets killed in the remake. lol.

  • @92680BOYD

Yes, you're absolutely right, there is a cameo by Chris Sarandon in the remake, but I don't remember seeing his name in the credits of the film.

  • 14:04 Brewster: What the deuce? rofl

  • @seanpatrickcain2

Yes that would have been fun if it had happened.

  • @The7thCreator Evil Ed is now a well-endowed reanimated vampire corpse lol

  • @16x9enhanced

    Thanks for the information.

  • coming to blu-ray soon!

  • @16x9enhanced

    What dates will be available?

  • Good old times. I remember most of this still by head.

  • @trancelistic

To me it is exactly the same.

  • @The7thCreator Btw, I've noticed the mixing/sync with the video with the melody. *if you did that*

    It really great.

  • @trancelistic

Thank you for rating my video editing and for qualifying it as well synchronized and mixed with the melody. Yes, this edition of the video I did, I'm glad you like it.

  • @The7thCreator Thank you for sharing it:)

  • @trancelistic

    You're welcome!

  • Even though i love Colin, it doesn't compare to my love for Chris Sarandon. I haven't seen the new one, but i'm sure it will be good.

  • @classicfan46

I hope you'll enjoy the new one!

  • Sorry guys but sad to say the new one is awful. You'll never beat Chris Sarandon. So cool. Especially the chomping on red apples.I had to come straight home and watch the original to keep the love.

  • @The7thCreator Thanks... i hope so too, and even if i like it, i would never replace Chris. He's just soo wow in this movieXD lol

  • @classicfan46 The new one really did the original justice. Was not just a cash in remake. I enjoyed it a lot more than I expected.

  • @Raiushi Really? Well if people say so then i'll give it a try. I always dislike remakes because like you said, its always about the cash they make. But from what is seen in the trailer i can say myself that it doesn't look half bad=D

  • @Raiushi

Colin Farrell is experiencing a revival in his career and I think Fright Night is the beginning of this revival. I liked that you shared your impressions of the remake.

  • @The7thCreator I agree. I thought the remake would follow how the original one played out, it does in a round about way but I felt it was much more of a climactic ending than the original.

  • loved that movie!

  • @Laveau

    Me too!

  • I saw the new one yest..It was good.

  • @calvingmail

This version is not bad but it could be done better.

  • Aww, my first and only vampire crush. Twilight does the vampire genre no good!

  • @Moonwatcher19

It seems that in any genre we can tolerate any new thing, but in regard to the vampires genre it must be kept the balance between the classic elements and new elements, whatever.

  • This how I see both version of fright night movies

Fright Night 1985 will always be a cult classic and one of best damn vampire movies.

Fright Night 2011 a fun vampire for this generation and no matter what the remake can never ruin original fright night 1985 ,

I already know going to love fright night 2011

  • @sweetkittens

By carefully reading your comment I notice that you entertain both the original film and the remake. I sincerely hope you enjoy both. Thank you very much for your comment.

  • @The7thCreator

I love the original fright and fright night 2

  • @sweetkittens

    Enjoy it!

  • @The7thCreator

Do you like fright night 2?

  • @sweetkittens

Fright Night 2 is not bad, but the incomes of this film were lower than the ones obtained of the first. It had new elements that initially madeit more interesting but it still didn't work like the first, maybe the movie was too saturated. The classic elements prevailed over the new ones, perhaps Fright Night 2 was ahead of its time.

  • I love the old and new xx

  • @edwardcullenonlyone

I'm glad to know that there are YouTubers who enjoy both films.

  • @edwardcullenonlyone Same bro

  • This is way better than the remake, Believe me this was meant to be a 80s movie! plus i can believe every bit, If your going to watch this, don't see trailers of this original one, they are really bad and they will spoil the movie for you. Cheers.

  • @DASfilms

These statements that say that the remakes don't overcome the original movies, are true. This remake had 26 years ahead of film industry, but in my humble opinion it didn't surpass the original movie. Something that I miss is the Jerry Dandridge's vampire flight . Cheers.

  • I'm in love with Jerry <3

  • @laupii1

    Enjoy it!

  • @The7thCreator I'd like to hahaha

  • great !!

  • @wratchild114

    Short but powerfull.

  • This is so good! I am very impressed. More people need to see this.

  • @Zoro11031

I liked your opinion that more people need to see my video editing. Expected to receive compliments, but I never thought to tell me something like what you've said. Thank you.

  • @Zoro11031 my favorite vampire movies reputation destroyed by a piece of shit 2011 colin farrel fucking faggot movie. FUCK everybody who watches this movie because of 2011 remake.

  • @Mathew1985AZ I liked the 2011 version. I thought David Tennant in particular was outstanding.

  • @Mathew1985AZ gay.now stfu.

  • Waaaaaaaayy better than the 2011 version.

  • @upinflamezzz

If you mean my video editing, thank you to rate it as better than the 2011 version. Although it's not my intention that both would be compared. I see as positive that a movie is so memorable that is made a remake of it.

  • omg this is an amazing and fantastic job and i think you are an amazing muvie maker keep up the good work man just realy increadable

  • @MegaCoolDudeGuy

I really like your words of recognition to my video editing. I assure you I'll keep up the good work. Thank you very much.

  • this is incredible! was it put together by a pro vid maker? i've seen the movie a million times and have never seen seen a tribute as cool as this. i noticed the 'fright night' kind of super imposed on Charlie's t.v and everything. the music moments were mixed well with the actual score.. just fangtastic! love it.

  • @rickiedd2020

Thank you very much for rating and for considering my video editing as professional. I'm honored with your comment, I appreciate it immensely.
