  • i think i will just take the stairs

  • *relaxing music plays* person: why is relaxing music playing if the elevator crashed? *goes on ride* LOL

  • MY FAVORITE RIDE OF ALL TIME!

  • Thumbs up if u skipped a lot of the beginning.

  • This is my 2nd favorite ride in all of Walt Disney World. I have yet to try the Disneyland version. Thanks for posting.

  • @Greenkai3000 Trust me this is more scarier and bigger than the one in Anaheim, California lol

  • If u watch the movie everything will make sense !Go it's in utube!!!

  • This is a lot creepier than the Aneheim California disneyland park.

  • wich park is this i'm sure it is not in Tokyo or in Paris!

  • @erwin1533 This should be the Walt Disney World park. Thats what the WDW stands for.

  • @erwin1533 Flordia

  • It's so weird because I hate not being able to see the tracks and falling but I love this ride. Or the Cali one. Never been to WDW. But I think it's so cool they filmed some of the movie on this ride. Or the queue area at least. Or so that's what I've read.

  • @PirateGurl121 you go into a pre show room and when you ride it in the Florida version it rides you through the corridors of the hotel before reaching the drop. it's one of the most technically advanced rides in the world

  • i remember that if you got ''lucky'' you would get a ''special treatment'' from the original 5 that were in the elevator and go to the very top and drop ALL the way to the bottom in one go.

  • i remember this thing only dropping you about three times in the past couple years but when i decided to ride this damn thing for the first time ever ALL ALONE last year they must have dropped us like twenty freaking times!!!! scared the living shit out of me bad enough that i i had a panic attack when i got off the ride hahahaha everyone was asking me why i was shaking and i was like go see for yourself! lol im majorly claustrophobic and afraid of elevators and i faced my biggest fear that day!

  • So , is this the official ride ? Like even at the same hotel ? or what ? i'm confused (:

  • I made a call once to my mom while on the ride...

    sadly the call was dropped

  • @jacobecky12 hahaha lol thats funny!!!!!!!!

  • i got a nightmare before christmas shirt in the giftshop after this ride :)

  • wow i have only ridden this in california. does the elevator car move around? it looks like you go into a few rooms or something. O.O

  • @Jazzyliz18 yeah it moves through a room and than you go to the lift area. but it only moves forward.

  • this is the best atracton of the world!!

  • was this video taken in the morning or night?

  • Comment removed

  • this was a bad thing to watch alone at night

  • Kool Ride this!! :)

  • It isn't the actual drop that's scary. The way that Disney builds the suspense is what gives the ride it's...well, terror.

  • i cant believe they took out "evil tower u r doomed"

  • Music reminds me of Fallout 3 for some reason.

  • this ride is the dame best i was just there last week and i ride this ride 5 times in a row lol i love this ride

  • 6:48 is the doors opening. You can hear the car going back on the track at 7:20. By the time you reach 7:29 you pass out. It's only a few seconds of waiting but it seems like its hours!!!!!!!!!!

  • I love this ride! The details in the storytelling are amazing! Go Disney!

  • This is my absolute favorite video of the TOT ride ANYWHERE on the internet! BRAVO!!! lOVE the music! Love how you dont hear the people. :)

  • i went on this ride scary as hell

  • you know what's weird,i actually had a dream where i was in a weird hotel and that each time the elevator opened something was different and wrong.I never went on this ride or any other like that, this dream was when i was younger.

  • this ride is SO MUCH FUCKING FUN! :D

  • i went on this ride and we were sitting in the front and my brother had a penny in his hand cuz hes a science nerd :D and the whole time the ride was happenening,he was looking for that penny xD he said it flew right out of his hand the seccond the ride started

  • u only drop four times man when i go on i feel like i am on there forever!! I LOVE U TOWER OF TERROR!!

  • @Mgirl32 yessss I still been there since i went.... I'm permanent guest D= hahaha I wanna go again

  • that ride was great!

  • it seems a bit real

  • Joe Dante directed the preshow vid...I have never been on the ride, although the Jp. one in Tokyo DisneySea sounds excellent. (Different story, but it takes place in the late 19th century.)

  • Remember when you first got on that ride????? lol

  • So in the beginning when the guy is exlaining what the twilight zone is he said Sound, sight, and mind. So the different parts of the ride represent that? Seeing the ghosts. Sight. Hearight the girl singing. Sound. And then the actual falling part would be for the mind? (maybe b/c everyone is thinking "why the hell did I get on this thing???" lol) Am I thinking too much into this? lol

  • being in the twilight zone is pretty awesome.

  • i was scared to death the first tim ei got on this but i was like dont let the bellhops see that you are scared ( cause they are really scary) and i was crying throughought the whole ride. but its fun LOL

  • ahhhhhh i love that!!!! whenever i go to disney i go on that

  • Went on this ride twice. The second time round I was more scared because I knew what was coming. Really didn't want to ruin the group picture that was planned. We got a massive poster size that got put up in my college. I actually look like I've shit myself in it, made some people laugh so its all good (Y)

  • i love the twight light zone.

  • lol ive been on this ride so many times i can practically recite the video shown before , word for word...LOVE THIS RIDE...

  • Well that's certainly a different feel from the one here in California! :D I think I like it.

  • im goin in like five months cant wait to go on it

  • @NHLROCKS45 I went on the one in California, but it's still the most insanely awesome ride you'll go on. I rode it 9 times. And got a jacket. :D

  • This ride... I was bouncing out of my seat the whole time! SO fun!

  • I can't believe I've lived near Disney my entire life, and NEVER been on this ride! Don't worry, that's all about to change.

  • hey are the droups secquinse different WDW then the twilight zone at disney califorian adventure or is basicly the same i love the tower of terror at disney califorian adventure.

  • Fantastic video. Really. I love how you had pictures of the lobby. A lot of people just skip that part and focus on the ride. This is one of the best decorated attractions at Disney World. You don't pay for the ride. You pay for the ambiance. It's all about making you feel like you're actually there. I LOVE WDW!

  • I don't care that the idea of a haunted 1920/30s hotel was COMPLETELY nicked from The Shining, a WB picture, for the Disney owned Twilight zone, this is a simply PHENOMENAL ride. The attention to detail is fantastic, and the little holographic movie played before you drop is greatly entertaining. And I'm going there in the summer again. HAHAHHAHAHAAA CAN'T WAIT!!!!!! PS whats the song playing at the beginning? Great track....

  • The first time I went on this ride was when I was about 8. My dad and I decided to go on it while my mom and older brother just gave their moral support....haha. I am going back to Disney the first part of July and can't wait to go back on this ride! I remember it being one wicked ride!

  • Awesome show, awesome ride FTW

  • that ride scared the living shiit outta me

  • Sufani add a . In front of YouTube in your address bar and then before that add kiss. So it would be kiss(.)YouTube(.)com/etc etc

  • only been to the california adventure version, but the ride still never gets old.

  • the music makes the video soo boring!

  • I loved this video. The best one out there. I love Disneyland and watch the ride videos almost everyday. It's my disney therapy. I would love to download this to my video collection but see you don't have a download button. How can I do this? Sufani

  • This is such a great video. Nice work

  • i went there wen i was 3 and all i could ride was that :( and i did and i LUVVVED IT

  • this ride is insane!!!!!!!!!!!! the feeling u get when it drops is something u cant put into words, and what makes things even scarier is the way the works talk to u. they sound like they died and roam the earth. LoL, I still cant believe i got on that thing. I can honestly say that i am happy i got on it but never getting on it again. lmao.

  • did you know that there are so amny hidden rooms in the tower of terrer that they lost count and the yhave a half court basket ball court in matterhorn... i heard by one of the workerd that its scary

  • The scariest part of this ride is if you sit in the back row..the restraints aren't as tight (my family failed to mention that so i bounced up and down scared for dear life) but it is such a good ride! Totally worth the fear and possible sickness

  • This is Disney's best attraction as far as effects and thrills. I first went on it back in '94 when it was just one (I think) drop lol. My sister failed to tell me how much it had changed since then lol when I went in '08. Now there's who knows how many drops (pulls actually). I freaked out on it as it's way too intense for me. I don't like the loss of gravity sensation over and over. Would be tolerable if it had something to hold onto (just a seat belt!) and only one drop like it used to.

  • i was like 6 when i first went on it, its scared me so much and i said i would never go on it again, then i did, lol not as scary as i thought it was

  • @fatboyidiotpants Like 13 story drop

  • Theres a ;pic i have of me and my mum and my sis on this.

were the only ones shitting our pants on it XD

  • i was scared to go on this so i'm watching the video. it reminds me of the shining.

  • The only scary thing for me when I went on it, was the wait! when you're waiting it seems WAY scarier! I think they want to make you freakout first and then go on the ride and they're all nice after you go on it! (that's what happened to me when I was 10! ...well I'm still ten! heheh!

  • Great Music selection. Good to hear Bunny Berrigan's version of I Can't Get Started.

  • i went on this two times. the first time i was quite scared and i got a little shaky.. haha. but after when we were on the ride i let go. oh and at one point of the ride my nephews hat was floating! haha. the second time i still got shaky but then loved it ! haha

  • that was a quite group at first, o thought only one person was on the ride they would be brave for that. But when i go imma try to record it I might buy a helmet and put the camera in it lol, but that ride looks awesome i hate rides like that put i am going get over that real soon> LOL

  • I don't find it scary at all!! but i love it

I have the pic of me on the ride and i did a funny face(: ahhaa

  • most amazing/scary ride ever!! i loved it!!!

  • best ride ever been on it twice and miss it

wish i lived in orlando would be sick

  • this ride has it's ups and downs.

  • @jephsteph haha I get it ups and downs cause the rides goes up and down. haha

  • @jephsteph so is it meant to be scary?

  • @Bridgninjagirl yh it is ment to be scary

  • This is definitely the best elevator i have ever been in. haha

  • I love how in Disney parks, there's a story behind the rides, it's not just a physical experience, it's also a mental one.

  • I like the whole story that they made up for the hotel. It's an AWESOME ride. I refused to go on it at first but when I did finally go, I loved it.

  • My friend and i LOVE this ride and she told me when she went on somehow she managed to take off her seat belt in the middle of the ride!! She said it was epic :)

  • hey is this a like must go on ride?

  • @jasperhalelover211 yeah it is, but don't have a big meal before going on lol

  • how'd they get rod serling? or is that an actor

  • @rhedsox27 Disney "extracted" him from the original TZ episode "It's a Good Life," they just changed the background. In the original episode, Serling says, "This as you may recognize is a map of The United States..." A sound-alike was used for the audio though.

  • This ride is sooo awesome!! When i dropped down i was lifted off my seat!

  • one night i saw there was no line for this...i nearly peed myself. So i rode it 6 times :]

  • sweet ride one of my favorites:)

  • i almost peed my pants watching this.

    what a great ride

    :)

  • I remember when I went on this ride. I was a little bit upset that there was no twist at the end. I asked a guy there: "Twilight Zone episodes have twist endings. Where's the twist?" And the guys says: "You really wanna know? The twist is..there is no twist!" Wow, didn't see that coming.

  • I was sooo scared the first time I went on. My whole body was shaking. I went on just cuz my friends convinced me to. When it dropped, I felt gravity has left me when I was lifted off my chair. After all that, I realized that I really loved it. That was the same day I got over my fear of roller coasters. That was the day I turned into a man.

  • lol i went on it when i was like 6

  • First time I went on, i was the only one in my family, I was scared shitless and all the other passengers were brittish, they called it a lift

  • i was on this ride this year the day after me and my friend went to universal and got on dr.dooms fear fall.its way better ,this is still awsome anyway

  • that ride was sickk!!! front row 1st steat. no handle bar on the right side of the chair. it was insanity. i had 2 bobby pins in mi hair wen i went on nd came off with 1 sorta in my hair =D

  • in the room right before you get on the elevator you can see objects disappearing and reappearing its pretty awesome and the ride is very fun not too scary

  • what happens in the elevator?

  • IT's like the bermuda triangle, once you go in you don't come back. That's the plot.

The ride just goes up and down, everytime the vator foes down it goes back up higher. then you go really really high.

  • @architect921 oh yea

  • u drop

  • i had always been terrified to go on this ride. but i finally did it and its my Favorite ride ever (:

  • I LOVE the music they're playing. Man I wish I had lived back in the 30's and 40's.

  • @musicalprodigy7 but then you wouldent have been able to watch the twilightzone or ride on this rideD:

  • @mickeymouse14 That's true :) Although I truly wish I had lived in another time era, one of the things that I really like about the 21st century is that you can look back at history and enjoy the entertainment that is made out of the different time periods such as the Tower of Terror.

  • @musicalprodigy7 i know... how the world become from THIS BEAUIFUL... To Now Ugly bieber and gaga :(

  • @musicalprodigy7 you're tellin' me!!!:)

  • @musicalprodigy7

Yer i strongly agree with this, i think it's great :) . We need Doc Brown ;) !

  • Is that an actual episode?

  • WOOT! I loved it! The atmosphere is what made this ride truly terrifying...! They did a really good job building the ride and giving it that aged, haunted look...

  • 100% Agreed :)

  • i love this ride <3

  • Love this Ride :)

  • I've been to Walt Disney World in Florida 4 times now and everytime I've been too scared to go on this ride. But after watching this I really want to go on it !!

  • I cried the whole time and the guy allowed me to go into another elavator and took us back into the basement. Now, I really want to go back

  • Most terrifying 45 seconds of my life

  • HOW DO YOU NOT SCREAM!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • how fast is it

P.S. purplepinkcupcake, hoe do you get christmas in the summer, I thought that was winter

  • its so fast you can remember

  • Deffinatly THE best ride in disney. You Cant go to disney without going on Tower of terror

  • @NikkiG00011 i went to dinsney whith out going on it

  • @pinkey5028 well then u missed out.

  • @NikkiG00011 (*cough cough*) i did! lol

  • @NikkiG00011 I have LOL. But I was like five and scared to death by roller coasters.

  • I'll never forget these 2 interesting people I met in the queue to this ride in June. There was a thunder storm, and they had the most unique things to say. After the ride, I of course never saw them again. That's the saddest thing about some theme park vists, but the memories are immortal.

  • autumnsun by any chance where they scottish? and 2 boys? and you gave them 2 free passes to go back on to it? wb it might be us

  • Hm....I'm not exactly sure...Can you give some more detail? Sorry...

  • What day in June was it somebody gave you the passes? Then I can answer that question.

  • Ovbiously, they never got back from their trip into-

    *Creepy theme song plays*

    The Twilight Zone

    *More creepy theme plays*

  • LOL good one

  • please dude, at least tell me what is the song title, somebody

  • I love this ride.

  • I have never been on it and I am going to Disneyland this summer for Christmas and my uncle is going to get us in for free because he works for Disney and my cousin and I are going on it together so excited

  • the one at disney world is deffinatly a whole lot better!

  • Thanks for this video, so many good memories of this ride, which will always be my favourite. Namely of my sister screaming every five seconds on it because she thought we were about to drop... then deafening all around us when it actually did!

  • im going on this ride in 6 weeks..... i have been on this ride b4 and t wasnt so bad but it was hilarious and sooooper fun.... though everytime i watch a tower of terror video my heart rate goes up

  • omg i love this ride ive only ridden once but it was reallly fun and i hate dropping rides but this one was really fun!!

  • this ride was to scary man. And the worst part was the picture didnt come out right so i was forced to ride it again.

  • omg the first time i went on i wuz like I'M FLYING. Then the second time i was like "oh shit". That ride was so scary. esp when u went up and down

  • Start from the 4th comment and read up.

  • Take it from a cast member who has ridden this ride more than 300 times. I know both hotels inside and out. I've seen the blueprints for each ride. I have two friends that work at the tower in WDW, and one at the tower in DCA. I've had a pizza party in the lobby of WDW's while I was in the college program, I've even helped clean out the pit beneath the drop shaft. I know my stuff when it comes to ANYTHING to do with Disney. Particularly Disney World. Thanks. :]

  • DCA's has some ugly yellow color to it (looks like honey mustard was poured all over it), no fifth dimension (just some random mirror that that makes you disappear), every time you ride it you get the same ride (wooo that's exciting), only vertical elevators (do you know how bad it shocks first timers when the elevator moves forward?), who is that random voice inside the elevator at DCA? That guy just sounds dumb and his voice doesn't fit anywhere . My final words in the next comment...

  • Well, to end the little argument about which one is better. WDW's has better outer appearance, it's original, the fifth dimension, random drop sequences, then elevators move horizontally and vertically, and the original voiceover for Rod Sterling's voice is used throughout the ride. My run-through DCA's will be in the next comment...

  • oh its awesome! if you go on you'll love it i swear.

  • Dude, I swear I got my heart rate up just watching this video...

  • Great video! This is my favorite attraction at WDW.

  • i wonder if theres a real building

  • Looks like fun.. And the storyline is amazing. Although. I doubt I'd be able to handle the falling part haha

  • There's something so genuinely eerie and frightening about this ride for me. I don't know whether it's the atmosphere, or the haunted-ness of it all, but when I was standing in line for this ride I was totally having second thoughts. The overall ride is a great and fun experience but I wouldn't recommend it for the faint of heart - walking through a spooky hotel lobby and dark dank hotel basement... oof. Fun but SCARY! My heart was racing when I stepped off the ride. I almost kinda miss it.

  • I miss that ride.

  • good ride huh!!

  • Yep.

  • I rode this ride in DisneyLand with my cousin. I was doing just fine in the line until she announce that she had to use the bathroom...which made me want to as well. I went into the car thinking "I am going to wet myself...I just know it!"

Sigh, good times good times. Next time she and i ride it we are totally bringing acme signs that read "mommy" and "acme screwed me again"

  • i dnt get it?

  • o my god!! whata beutyfull song!!! please, send it to my via mail if you can, i cant stop listening to this!!! gorgeus!!, please answer me

  • * lighteningg .. ohh and i love this videoo so muchh i noo al the words i no im sad but not arsed :) im going in 2 weeks on fridayy for the 7th time well excitedd XD x

  • wat song?

  • the song that sounds at the begining, at least tell me the name of the song and who sings, its fantastic

  • I Can't Get Started, I got it , reading the coments I get it. anyway tank you for your time

  • no trust me it wudnt b good with thunder becoz it happened in calafornia andd loiads of people died on itt :O x

  • to slow...

  • The DCA version is so much better.

  • The DCA version is the same ride every single time. The WDW version is different every time you ride it.

  • But most of the profiles are lame on the WDW version, so what's the point? And the storyline is random and all over the map on the Florida version whereas the DCA version is clear, concise and cohesive all the way through. So, I would gladly give up the random profiles for a profile that is always the same provided that profile is a great one and the DCA one is better than perhaps all of the "random" profiles at WDW.
