  • Canada for the 2026 FIFA World Cup!!!!

  • I think russia will win the hosting of fifa world cop in 2018!!!!!!!!!!!

  • FiFA are corrupt tossers, they need to be reformed

  • dump racist-tude then u.s it be.

  • @akmal3677 well if racism decides the countries who can host the game ,then the game is finished.NO COUNTRY is free of racism. So take your ball outside and let it be target practice for a terriorist.

  • England or Beligum-Netherlands 2018

    Australia 2022

  • For 2018 Its a very Heated Competition between England, Russia, and the U.S.A.

For 2022 I Seriously have High Hopes for an Australian Victory.

  • it is called football dumbass

i put sukmi(soccer)balls cus cuz sukmifootballs makes no sense

  • its funny how people say that USA doesnt have that many soccer fans when we were the country with the most tickets sold for the 2010 world cup besides South Africa

  • @aaronr0202 yes that is true. But you can also look at it from a different perspective.

45,000 tickets were sold to Australians. 130,000 were sold to Americans

Aust has a population of 22,493,275 purchased 45,000 tickets. 1 in 500 aussies purchased tickets

USA has population of 310,000,000 purchased 130,000 tickets. 1 in 2384 Americans purchased tickets

For Americans to be equal they would needed to have purchase 621,200 tickets.

N.B I not sure an exact data from FIFA world cup sales

  • @MightyRoos that doesnt matter.... US still spend more money on tickets. Doesnt matter about population. a game in the US would mean WAY higher ticket revenue for FIFA. More tickets being sold and our stadiums are ALOT bigger.

  • @chicagoguy19 Yes bigger stadiums, more revenue for FIFA. However Australia along with Korea and Japan is located in same time zone as huge Chinese TV market. So FIFA can make bigger revenue on TV rights.

  • @MightyRoos um... the american television market is alot bigger than the chinese market. and american time zones are in line with the south/latin american countries.

  • @MightyRoos i retract my last comment. THe U.S has the second largest televison market. behind china. But china isnt going to a host. Picking a host nation with the second largest television market is a bigger deal.

  • No, USA no way deserves it, you can search for the article Give the World Cup Bid a red card and that shows the exact truth about the USA world cup bid, it's a bunch of garbage and the US will never be a true footballing country anyway. The USA has 300 mill people, 1 mill signing up doesn't mean crap and we all know no other country forces people to enter email addresses to count as people just to see the bid site. It's an embarrassment, the USA are merely trying to bully other nations again

  • America would still have haters for soccer but I believe even this year USA actually gave a damn about the World Cup a lil More. Even ESPN caught up to the fans. If World Cup came to USA in this decade it would definitely increse American partisipation

  • It's out of the question whether the WC can draw the crowds here in the US... in 1994 all of the games were sold out, and soccer has been the fastest growing sport in the US ever since. Though I would love it to be here I'm gonna have to cast my vote for the Spain/Portugal joint bid (at least for 2018) because we had it in the US a relatively short time ago while these soccer obsessed countries have never hosted (not that I can recall).

  • The problem is America almost lives in a bubble when it comes to sports. You guys call it Soccer, when it is known as football everywhere else in the world. You guys call rugby with armour - football.

You don't have the passion for it or the infastructure, I can't see every game getting sold out. It needs to come to the UK.

  • @simply2ghetto Attendance for the 1994 world cup in the states has been the highest in history. We have massive football stadiums in every major city (sometimes 2). How about England in 2018 and US in 2022?

  • @TheDailyConversation I think it absolutely has to go to Spain/Portugal before it goes to the US again... only in terms of fairness. Spain has won the Euro and the WC along with having a ridiculously loyal fanbase.

  • @wkcr spain and US are no longer competition.. now 2018 is an all europe race... so spain/portugal will either get 2018 or nothing and US will get 2022 or nothing.

  • @TheDailyConversation

U guys have massive American football stadiums in most major cities, but they aren't purpose built for 'Soccer' without purpose built facilities on a large scale,I feel 'Soccer' will always be a sideshow to 'American' sports.

Fifa these days is a cartel so I think they would most probably award US the 2022 games because of advertising revenues from American companies, I think there will be an orgy of Mountain Dew adverts with every replay. Sorry it has to be UK or Spain.

  • @simply2ghetto we have SOME purpose built stadiums for our MLS teams.. but why would be host games in stadiums that are ...40,000 seats at best when we can host in grander and larger 80,000-100,000 stadiums that would fit more people and result in higher revenue.

  • @simply2ghetto I mean, I hear you.... but honestly who gives a fuck what it is called? If we called it football it would get confused with American Football so what do you expect? Be serious.

  • @simply2ghetto I'm not the biggest defender of American football but I do have to say that those athletes are beasts and there are many serious injuries at the games, so your tongue-in-cheek attempt at sarcastically deeming it "less manly" than rugby ( a sport with a surprisingly small amount of serious injuries) lacks validity. I do agree that there is a whole lot of passion in the UK (I've been studying here for over a year) and it would be a great place to host a WC!

  • @wkcr

I didn't say that NFL 'footballers' are athletically inferior,I am just trying to saying that Americans like to have their 'own' sports which they sorta make up from other sports, similar to baseball coming from cricket.American sports also don't have a global following the way that Cricket and Football for example have.

The WC has to come back to the UK, it has been 44 years already.I am all for inclusion but I really think the WCs held outside Europe and South America have been pants.

  • @simply2ghetto I agree, America doesnt have the passion for the game

  • @simply2ghetto USA bought the most tickets at the 2010 world cup after South Africa. and 1994 has the highest attendence record. Doesnt matter about USA or Uk because USA and UK are no longer competing for the same year. UK (2018) and USA(2022)

  • @chicagoguy19

Funnily enough I didn't really see that many US fans there, and they certainly were second to South Africans.

They may have bought so many tickets but just to sell on to other fans.

I think its become quite 'Soccer' isn't for Americans, the spiritual home of the WC is Europe of South America, since they have the fanbase and the facilities. Most of all they love the game and ridicule it.

  • @simply2ghetto there wasnt many "americans" there yes. If u watch one of the US bid videos... it shows how the the diversity of cultures in our country still have passion for their childhood national teams. Americans werent just buying tickets to see the US. but mexico, argentina, Korea, etc. The world cup in the US wouldnt even need to rely heavily on international ticket sales because americans of different cultures will buy up non-american matches.

  • @chicagoguy19

The Premier league is the most watched football league in the world, so football in England clearly has a global appeal, so your point about 'Revenue' isn't that strong.

England has better infastructure than the US with regards to public transport and stadiums especially. Also it being in Europe, people will flood to see the games, in the US - the cost of the trip will make people less inclined to go. WC is a global event not just national.

  • @simply2ghetto the USA revenue according to ticket sales, and sponsorships having an immensly larger potential then england. and according to the worldfootballinsider which has been calculating bid power index's for the games(yes they may not be truley accurate), has the usa ranked higher in terms of transportation and accomedation(usa receiving the top ranking). and one of americas strong point is that even IF international support is lackking we have LARGE groups of multinations that

  • @simply2ghetto and immigrant communities that will make up the difference in buying tickets to non-us matches.

  • @simply2ghetto "ANd america doesnt have the passion" i think its quite evident we do, or we wouldnt be posting videos and defending the bid. we wouldnt have done any of this if we didnt want to see the world cup in our country. Choosing a country with strong infrusture, promises large revenue, AND has a large population that hasnt been taped into will be the determining factors of the US receiving the WC. Europe has nothing to gain from hosting a world cup..in the us it would bring more fans.

  • @chicagoguy19

Please - don't make me laugh. I can make videos about my support for North Korea, it doesn't mean British people are behind me.

You are part of a minority of Americans, most Americans don't give two shites about the WC. Never have and never will, and thats fine. You guys should stick to your own 'football'.

The only way I can see the WC going to the US is if American corporations manage to bribe the voting comittee, the WC would just be a giant orgy of Mountain Dew commercials.

  • @simply2ghetto

Most Americans also don't give a shit about the Superbowl, if we're going by 'majority'. Only 100 mill or so Americans watch the Superbowl, in a country of 310+ million. So your logic fails.

We're a huge country. 'Most' doesn't mean anything here. We can succeed better than 'most' other countries with a minority of our population being interested.

  • @simply2ghetto doesnt matter. england is bidding for the 2018 wc and the usa for the 2022 wc.. (they both pulled out of the other respectively).

  • @simply2ghetto Who cares how is it called in the USA....That is one of the most weakest and terrible arguments ever!

We don't have the infrastructure? Are you kidding me? The first World power doesnt have the infrastructure to host a WC? LMAO

Thirdly...The 1994 has been the most successfull world cup ever..Google it up.

And forthly..The USA its the most diverse country in the WORLD.

    Get your arguments straight.

  • @simply2ghetto Stupid comment. First of all there are close to 100 Million football ( soccer ) fans in the U.S. that's almost double the population of England and more than the whole U.K. Second, the word "SOCCER" originated in England not in the U.S. Third "OUR" football needs to be played in armour. Have you seen how hard they hit in American Football? It ain't like rugby where guys collied then push each other for god knows how long and also: BORING.

  • @Heidibear76 LOL you are a genius.

  • I wonder if it would draw the same kind of crowds here.

  • yeah last time(94) was a blast, i was in sweden at that time and we had to watch the games like 2 o'clock at night because of the time difference, but still we love it
