I remember one year my younger sister got this for Sega CD because she played soccer, my older sister got Beyond the Limit because she was learning how to drive and I got Mortal Kombat 3 because it just came out.

I loved this. In fact, it was the one game that was actually worth playing when I had a Sega CD (circa 1993). Before ISS on the SNES, this was as good as football got.

This and NHL 94 really woke up everyone to what could be possible with gaming in the future. I still remember people coming over to my joint and seeing this running. They all couldn't believe how cool it was. Great memories. Thanks for the video!

the 3d intro graphics,scenes and sound are unbelieveble it looks more like saturn graphics,you may think the 32x is obsolete.

haha! don't remind me, I bought the Sega CD for $300 in 1993 too. If you think about it, that is more than 2008 Wii or close enough to a 360 or base PS3. I also had a Panasonic 3D0 was $400 in 1994, same as modern day Xbox 360.

I renember when i first bought this game, it always froze on the loading screen after the intro, at first i wasnt sure if it was taking ages or crashed, that vid well just brought back memorys id forgoten about, i cant believe its 14 years ago

My mate bought a megacd. I was so jealous. but after the intro etc and the 'replays' that were videos the game was pretty much the same. I got a 3DO and had real 3d stadiums to wipe the smile clean off his face. but then since we both bought consoles that were obsolete it was a hollow victory :)
