Have you ever tried Bare Escentuals Mineral Veil? That doesn't make me look washed out... but I'm a bit worried about buying the NYC Finishing Powder if it will make me look ghostly like you say.

I know it's one way or the other. I decided that I do not like the mineral make up from NYC. It's just not consistant.

Hey. I just started using this Papaya facial Cleanser (toner) from a chinese store and well, i heard that it will lighten my skintone... not ready to throw out all of my more expensive makeup just yet so i wanted to find a review of the cheaper stuff out there that I can get in the meantime (I am taking a trip to thailand for 2 months) and i wanted to be prepared incase my face does lighten. Anyways cool video, I heard NYC is pretty good and very inexpensive.

I too tried this this weekend. I bought it because at Target I was able to get the tender pink blush, fair to medium foundation and finishing powder for under 5 dollars. I tried it out and immediately fiance said I looked pail. I think I will go back and get the deep and skip the finishing powder all together. The tender pink blush is great for matching the natural pink tint of my cheeks already. Thank you so much for this review!
