hey I went to that site you advertise, and it played lots of flash music at me, which stopped me enjoying your video. Tell them their web design sucks ass.
i agree with Bidda27...the first part was nice, untill you did the second part..you screwed it up completely. Its difficult to do, since i play myself..but ....indeed..stop sacrificing feeling for speed..
Tonguing is not used in Irish traditional music for the most part, because the ornamentation style comes from the uilleann pipes which are, of course, bag blown and can't be tongued. Some of it also comes from fiddles and the same thing goes there. There are a few players who do use a tonguing effect, but I don't like it. There are a couple of sloppy moments, but hey, I'm just trying to show what the whistle can do, not win any awards for my playing.
@nicksmetcalf I enjoyed your playing.I pipe,s and low whistle. You may not be able to use your tongue on uilleann pipe,s but you use your leg for the same effect. You can control the air flow by raising the chanter off the leg or closing it against the leg this produce,s the poping and chopping sound that uilleann pipe,s are famous for.
The slipjig was alright, but you really screwed up the reel. It sounded like a beginner trying to move their fingers as fast as possible. You definitely need more practice.

That whistle is beautiful, where did you get it?

sometimes when you slow it down you can miss on a note -sounds crazy-like running on thin ice

One thing that will help the reel, is if you take a breath between some of the phrases that you just ran through, also, SLOW IT DOWN!!!
