  • Wow my friend's baby was born a month early a couple months ago and had to stay in the hospital for 6 weeks. That baby boy is seriously amazing.

  • Pregnant women can fly in the early monThs? What other superpowers do they have?

  • christmas miricles make me cry with joy

  • awe! the baby is sooo cute!

  • oh i think when there fluid inside the mouth the baby wont breath until it all out

  • dont you need to cut the cord for the baby to start breathing

  • that babys gonna be a pilot!

  • no credit to the 2 paramedics on the flight!

  • Thank goodness

  • The result of joining the mile high club.

  • Those 2 paramedics said they were originally not scheduled to fly on that plane! It's destiny!

  • The song in this segment is 'I'LL BE HOME FOR CHRISTMAS. Today Matthew is 15 and his sister is 18. When he got older, she had one great story to tell him.

  • The Dr didn't know CPR? I seen 6 year olds do it!

  • If the pregnancy is healthy, the doctors may let you fly up until the 8th month. Full term is considered anytime 37 weeks but babies have been known to survive being born as early as 23 weeks but medically they say 24 weeks. My friend who went into perterm labor & lost her twins was 20 weeks along at the time...

  • Shin, please tell your friend I'm terribly sorry for her loss. I cannot imagine what it is like to lose a child.

You are right-babies can live at 23 weeks. You just need the right physician, staff, and hospital to help them live...and it has happened before.

    God bless

  • I was born 3 months early and was premature and weighed about 2 1/2 pounds.

  • He's going to be a pilot when he grows up =)

  • lol true

  • You can fly while your pregnant with the doctors approval as long as your not days from your due date and don't have any medical conditions

  • thats a myth

  • I hope I can hv a baby one day..:)

  • Hello!Nice film of emergency birth on a airplane!I was almost to cried when I saw on the film birth a baby on the airplane!=)

Sweet baby delivery on the airplane!=)

    Love the film!=)

Give you 5 star for this film!=)

    Greeting TheCARRE74=)

  • you get to a certain term then your not allowed

  • I was born on March 18 1993 in the Philippines.

(March 17 here in the United States)

  • You can fly in the early months.

  • i had a 10

  • i was born "premature" too. but i was born in the hospital.

  • baby IS FUNNY XD

  • i was 4 pounds 7 ounces and i was born a month early because i am a twin

  • what makes the body go into labor that early?

  • please god please god help the baby i hate babys

  • both of my sons were born 3 months premature and they weighed 1 lb exactly and 1 lb 6 oz, so thats pretty big and healthy for 3 months early

  • Wow, four pounds is actually very big for an almost three-month premature baby...

  • i know i was 4 ponds and 3 weeks early

  • i was 10 ponds and 5 day erlay

  • i was like 3 MONTHS early. i weight 6 pounds by then.

  • Very true . . . I was born two months early and I was only 3 pounds.

  • yeahh my sister was born 3 months premature and she was 2 pounds 7 ounces

  • i was 6 pounds 3 mths early

  • epic fail

  • I was born on March 17, 1993

  • When there's any similar emergency and there are no doctors or paramedics available, I suggest looking for a marine safety officer(lifegard) or Red Cross WSI which have training close to paramedics.

  • Sounds like the doctor was kind of a dud. Way to go paramedic lady with the straw!

  • funny! a 6mnth baby wouldn't live ...

  • Err...yes it can. Google it.

  • mine did, get your facts before you start commenting on stuff

  • you cant say a six month baby wont live, you dont know that, i have proof , i had 2 babies born at 6 months weighing exactly 1 lb ( he passed away at 5 days) and 1 lb 6 oz, hes now 7 months old.

  • yes it can i lived

  • a 6 month baby can live because I did

  • my neice was born at 6 months weighing only 1lb 15 oz and she is now in first grade, healthy and normal.

  • umm he's my brother stupid

    IM Isabel deBara

    im his younger sister

    and my brother is healthy

  • actually, my uncle who didnt even reach his 6th month (he was born after 5 and a half) survived. he was born in 1962. He was born so early because my grandmother smoked. he had some developmental problems, but after he was born, he didnt have any physical defects

  • actually, my uncle was born at 5 and 1/2 months.....he was born so early because my grandmother smoked. he did show some developmental problems later in life, but as far as physical defects go, he had no problems.

  • YO! I was 6 month baby, and I m healthy as a healthy person can be, so do some research before you start commenting!!

  • this was a happy ending :')

  • Watching this brought a smile to my face. =o)

  • amazing...got tears in ma eyes...all da best for u lil boy n family

  • just because you might talk like that doesnt mean you need to type like that

  • Baby should named Matthew Lockheed de Bara.

    Lockheed is kind of airplane.

    Looked up (Lockheed Tristar L-1011)

    xoxoxoxoxoIsabellxoxoxoxoxoxoxxoxoxooxo

  • he's a cute baby! and thank goodness those people were on the airplane!

  • you are right about that

  • haha babies come from planes

  • lol a stranger asks where were you born the kid answers i was born on twa flight 265 from new york to orlando florida

  • I started crying at 6:02

  • LOL! It will be fnny if he grew up to become a pilot hahhah! He was a pretty healthy baby to be 3 months premature! And big too at 4 pounds! Full term babies are 5 to 7 pounds. Bless his little heart! :)

  • It's easier to remember what APGAR means when you know it's an acronym for the following assessment of a baby at 1, 5 and 10 minutes after his (or her) birth: A = appearance, P = pulse, G = grimace, A = activity, R = respiration.

    I'm a Paramedic, that's how I know this.

  • Yay. Now I know of a baby born on a plane. My dad was born on a boat going around the Statue of Liberty! hehehe and my sister was born in the entrance (almost parking lot) of the hospital.

  • LOL! I was born on the way to the hospital. My mom said as soon as she went into labor I was coming out fast. LOL!:)

  • My sister was literally coming out in the parking lot of the new hospital in our area. She's been rushing ever since...Lol! better than taking 24 hours I guess...

  • w8 6months it should not live thats weird

  • She was nearing the end of her sixth month of pregnancy, so it was closer to seven months.

  • What an adorable baby. He's too cute. : )

  • thats beautiful :)

  • lol, at 4:29 the baby squeals. Right before that, the doctor says "come on baby, come on baby, breathe" and can be clearly seen moving about with his arms and eyes.

  • at least they used a real baby and not a doll...heh

  • wow why in the world would she travel at 6 months in the first place??? But good thing the baby is all right. I bet now her birth c, would say...born in airplane lol

  • At around 4:56, he said there's an "APCAR" rating? What did he say?

  • He said APGAR. APGAR is a score/rating that is given to babies at 1 minute of life, and again at 10 minutes of life. 0 is dead and 10 is the best it can be. Every baby's appearance is measured by this scoring system.

    I hope that was helpful.

  • I guess the stipulation that anyone in the 3rd trimester of pregnancy cannot board a flight, is a pretty recent one.

And what would the birth certificate say about where she was born?

  • Firstly, it's a he. Secondly, I think it would state the airport, not the air but I can ask my father because he's a pilot if you really want to know.

  • Adding this in because I was finally told. Dad said the birth certificate would place the baby's birthplace as the doctor to sign the document's location. For airplane's though, if the baby is born in mid-air, the records would show either the destination (if the parents can wait that long) or the location of landing for the aircraft. That's where the birth cert. would show birht location. Just so everyone knows! ^^

  • WTG EVERYONE WHO HELPED OUT!! I have first aid training in childbirth but i hope I never have to deliver a baby! I would if i had to but i hope i never do!

  • in 1995, i was a flight attendant with Royal Brunei Airlines. after our first service at about three hours, that was on a long haul flight (flight full) from Abu Dhabi to Brunei a man came to the galley and said to our leading steward that his wife was about to deliver. she was in her full term and nobody knew because she was wearing very loose clothing. she was in her full term at 9 mons.

  • captain was informed we were about to go on emergency landing somewhere in India but Captain decided later to continue . why? .

  • the mother got the baby out in less than 5 mins. it just slipped off. at 230 pax on board only around 10 pax knew about it. we did it with discretion to avoid fuss and panic. we continued the rest of the 8 hour flight taking pictures with the baby that got me on the front page of the BORNEO BULLETIN with 2 of my fellow stewardesses...lol! they continued their flight back home after arrival in brunei to their home in Indonesia. It was a memorable flight.

  • Or maybe become a pilot

  • LMFAO BABIES COME FROM AIRPLANES

  • Well you know, the storks got tired...

  • wow 3 months premature i was pretty sure 9 months was normal guess i was right thats crazy tho

  • what about the pilots they helped!!!!!!??don't cheer the pilot huh =-( they must have tried there best to land plane fast asap!

  • aww that i a miracle!1 poor woman to have gone through all that . the baby is gorjus. bless thenhospital 4 the choir, that was sooo sweet. god bless.

  • i was going to say that must be embrassing but who cares right ur gonna have a child ;]

  • lol like the captian said ' departed with 213 souls on board, and landed with 214' :)

  • I was on a plane from Miami when a seven yr old boy had a medical emergency. There were some Drs. coming home from Central America and gave the boy more Tylenol to bring his temp down. It was very scary.

  • WOW..What a miracle..God bless their family and all those who helped..

  • So babies come from airplanes i thought the stork brought them

  • LOL a friend asks where were you born

kid answers i was born on aa flight 92 from new york orlando florida

  • OMG LMAO!!

  • she was so lucky that there was a doctor and paramedics on that plane. what are the chances?

  • Now a days, very high. I believe that flight attendants must be trained as a first responder now. With 200+ people on an airplane the chances that someone is trained in first aid is very high. The question is how many of those rescuers are going to tell someone they are trained and how many are going to act on it verses just sit there.

  • such a wonderful thing bringing a new baby into the world. I love kids!

  • Wow...sexy L-1011! God I miss those old Tristars!!

  • And yet it's legal to abort at 6 months?

  • "It wasn't like we won a Stanley Cup and anything." I love that line. I think she must be a hockey fan or something, like me.

  • Matthew what? Dullus? Dallas?

  • Dulles.

  • Is that what you write the city like or did they change that?

  • thay wer takeing off out of jfk or la guardia

in new york but thay show a jet takeing off out of lax.

  • That was probably stock footage.

  • your right

  • you should make a note so viewers know that this Episode #625,#629,#630,#714 weren't syndicated.

  • This episode (625) was syndicated. 626-630 weren't.

  • ROFL babies come from airplanes

  • its an airport,

    just right outside Washington D.C.

  • Dallas, because he was born there and the people in the hospital called him that before the parents named him. It even says so on the sign above his bed.

  • dulles.

washington/dulles international airport. it's less than a mile from my house, which is in northern virginia...

  • Thanks. I´m german...so I didn´t know.

  • it's the airport i see from home.

    that isn't dulles though.

and reston hospital center isn't in D.C., more like an hour away.

(small things, i know... just the type A in me coming out :-P)

  • uhh...that dr was an idiot. "come on baby breathe"

  • what would you say

  • he was big for being nearly 3months premature! 4lbs!!!

  • Another miracle baby.

  • good for a Dr. being on board right place right time

  • why are some people so stupid? some of the things people write just baffle me... duh this is a reenactment. that should be quite obvious... grrrr

  • baby wantd to go to florida also!!

also.. What you dont want to hear on a plane 'Get the flight attendant.. we have a problem'!!

  • is it real?

  • that is so not a 6 mo. premie

my bro was a 2 mo. premie and he could

    fit in my dads hand

this is like 6 mo. and that looks

    a full term kid

  • This was a re-enactment, so that wasn't a real newborn.

  • well yeah i know but but still

  • lol id like to see where anyone would be able to get an actual 6 month old premie struggling for its life to be in a re-enactment

  • the emts say they' weren't meant to be on that flight but yes they were

  • the baby is the lucky one! imagine only6 months and tnx god he survived! guckluck to u AND TO UR BABY AND TO UR FAMILY

  • that woman was lucky man.

  • .....wow..... you see these things in movies and stuff, but its weird to think it really happens. im glad everything worked out ok for them and their baby.

  • that tri engine Lockeed L1011, is probably in the desert now, resting peacefully.

  • Hehehe! That made me smile :)

  • Wow, that's SO not a premie!! Premie's at 6 months would fit in one of your hands.

I know its a reenactment and all, it just.. and that cord was waaaayyy too long. haha..

baby matthew is going to have lung problems later on, i'd bet on it!

  • what would be the baby's nationality..?

  • It would still be American. They never left the country.

  • "what would be the baby's nationality..?"

Well, American, since they were flying from NYC to Orlando...

  • Hey Asma74, um, how old is your daughter now?

  • Aww a happy ending !

  • you can fly, but most OB's reccomend you not fly after 30 weeks, for this reason, but it says that the baby was born early, so she was probably just fine to fly, medically. my wife is 23 weeks and we flew 2 weeks ago... she and the baby are fine.

  • i thought you weren't supposed to go on a plane when you are pregnant!

  • Wow! I had this happen to me in march (in a air plane). It was A girl my first child. :)

    I was 21 then.

was her baby a girl or a boy????

  • Boy.

  • i know ir makes me feel emotional too :( xx

  • OMG, these videos get me so emotional.

  • wat r perimadics?

  • That baby is so cute!!!!!!

  • weird...it was flight 265 and the episode number is 625 haha

  • imagine how stressed the pilot would be if he turned to suddenly baby would be in free fall!

  • hay i wonder if the baby gets free airline tickets lol

  • be cool if he did :)

  • That is absolutely incredible for that woman to not think twice about sucking placenta fluid through a straw out of the baby's nose...great story! whats the difference between a regular and docu segment allgood?

  • TRANS AIR!

  • wot a beautiful baby! he weighed 6 ounces more than i did at birth and i was born at full term lol. So glad he was ok!

  • amazing miracle

  • umm i used to watch a show when a woman goes into labor in a classroom but i forgot the name of the show does anybody know whats its called

  • I think its called Amazing Births Cause I saw it too!!!!

  • scarry

  • When was this episode aired?

  • May 23, 1995.

  • I remember this one.. I didnt remember it until the straw part.

  • wow that baby was soOoOoOo lucky and soOoOoOo cute!!

  • i was scare that the baby would die but thank god he didn't
