  • Thats cool, I always use my 150mW when going out at night. And it's not dangerous if a reflection hits your eyes in a minisecond, but if you aim the laser directly into eyes, or stare at a reflaction that hits your eyes a few seconds, your eyes will get hurt

  • AWASOME!

  • i bet you could light someones pants with that! lol

  • coooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool

  • at 0:17 you had much luck...

  • the modern lightsaber lol

  • i bet the ballon guy loves you

  • ever since i got one i have became a pro sniper for the us army... jk

  • im blind!

  • you can also use these lasers to make contact with et's at @ night... how much r they???

  • right, u know what they do to balloons,,, imagine that, but with someones head! XD XD XD

  • can u turn on a cigarette with that!!???

  • @jarka9991 yes you can

  • @jarka9991 lol , turn on a cigarette?

  • Free Energy is real and its here! The Oil companies are doing everything they can to stop these

information. If you want a Free energy machine , get the blueprints at LT-MAGNET-MOTORdotCOM , Join the

    revolution!

  • Try that on some ones hand.... O.o

  • kids this is how not to get laid

  • If that laser pointer were so powerful, shot a green balloon instead of black.

  • Things I've Learnt:

High powered green lasers are meant for :

    - Lighting my birthday candles

    - Popping balloons with the face of my enemy drawn on it

    - Your a idiot for not wearing protective glasses for the first half of the video

Thumbs up if you have learnt the same things =]

  • haha when u point at balloons its like a gun popping them

  • Laser pointer goggles are worse for your eyes than having no goggles at all : the goggles make everything seem darker therefore your pupils open up wider to let more light in just think if you have goggles on and if you have the laser beam reflected into your eye you are going to seriously injure your cornia with the amount of laser radiation being absorbed into your eyes.Wearing no goggles will let more light into your eyes therefore making your pupils small so less radaition is absorbed. :D

  • @BEZIK2K9 An interesting idea but wrong.

Laser safety goggles work by reducing the power of a beam to a level where it is harmless. The dilation of your pupil is irrelvant.

  • @dragonlasersfanman Lol i spent all that time commenting on this Lmaoo

  • @dragonlasersfanman Even if it's a little late I'd like to add: If your eye get ever hit for a fraction of a second it will get blind, no matter if your pupils are opened wide or not. The savety goggles I have are rated OD3 at 532nm. That means 1/1000 of the light which goes in can travel through. That means 200mW gets reduced to 0.2mW. This gives you time enough for closing your eye. If you don't try to avoid the beam the material will melt and then you'll get problems.

  • @BEZIK2K9 Negative, if you're talking about red goggles, the red blocks green light and your pupils don't dilate. Sun glasses does make it worse be cause you see all light darker.

  • @BEZIK2K9 OMG dude, that's the dumbest idea I've ever seen in my whole life! I hope you were kidding.

  • @ch0c4 The only person who fucking got it :L :D!

  • @BEZIK2K9 this effect, is the same as if you would look into a laser with sunglasses, but the laser-goggles only block the specified range (405 nm, 532 nm etc.) thats why you should never look in to a laser-beam with sunglasses .

    greets

  • @BEZIK2K9 Your thinking of using sunglasses for protection, Your pupil could be as big as a porn stars pussy and it wouldn't make any difference with proper protection. The fact is that the amount of light being transmitted through them is reduced and therefore the same amount of harmless light is gonna reach your eye no matter what.

  • i'm sure this is a potential weapon o.o!

  • For every1 asking what lasers are good for; u could use them to test refractive indices. You could demonstrate rayleigh scattering. You could make an interferometer. You cold demonstrate polarization twisting in solutions of asymetric molecules. You could test brewster angles.

5mw will cut it for all of those. But for highpower lasers:

Make guide stars for adaptive optics telescopes. Engrave things.

But apearantly the only thing this one does that 5mw doesnt is light matches and pop ballons.

  • @antalz Don't forget higher power gives longer range and greater visiblity. Essential for applications such as astronomy, alignmnet, use in daytime conditions, scaring birds and defense

  • @antalz Or you could use it to shine on the floor and get a bunch of small kids to chase and fight over the laser dot! =P

  • you are retarded for shinning the laser at your camera lens, it could have reflected right back at your eye, and boom your instantly blinded.

  • I wouldn't quite sufice it to say that; I've been hit in the eyes by my green laser before and I can still see; granted, mine's not as powerful as this guys so the sircomstances are a bit different. I think it would happen if you looked directly at it for anymore than two seconds but I could be wrong. Admittadly I'm a bit careless not wearing safety glasses; I never got around to buying any until now.

  • lol "IM SHOWIN YA" i used to sit 3 storys up and fuck with the patroling police and other tards in cars that couldnt figure where it was comming from

  • oooooohhhh i seeee..... the $500 laser is used to pop balloons and light matches. thanks for answering that question.

  • go pop a white ballon

  • It is fantastic

  • 2:34 wat balloon buddy did to u :(

  • SO ILLEGAL

  • @RoyalsChamp5 legal in most countries and usable in all countries

  • @dragonlasersfanman IN australia no. lasers allowed

  • @RoyalsChamp5 Dragonlasers sells lasers to Australia

  • @dragonlasersfanman will they sell one to me in pennsylvania?

  • @RoyalsChamp5 What mw is legal in aus? melbourne?

    They are illegal here¡

    ˆ¬ø√´ ¬åß´®ß

  • @RoyalsChamp5 Yeah, I hear it's hard to get lasers into Australia.

  • This guy can afford the high priced laser but he cant afford safety goggles???

  • @benso9c What again more closely, you'll see he does have laser safety glasses and did wear them

  • @dragonlasersfanman at the end! but not at 55 sec. but it did not hit his eyes so he is good! i hope??

  • Good job ruining your 1) Eyes, 2) camera in one video.

  • good lazers but the prices are too harsh

  • @craig1360 Unfortunately there is no way to make genuine high quality lasers cheap enough to be sold at lower prices.

  • @dragonlasersfanman

What exactly is it that increases the price so dramatically anyway, is it IR filters, better build quality, and/or focusing, or is it something else?

  • @FencingBoomerang All of the above. Basically a better, safer laser that lasts a lot longer giving you much better value.

  • @dragonlasersfanman ya there is u idiot it costs about $20 for u because you guys buy in lots from companies so dont give people that crap about how u cant lower prices

  • @themariokartcheater $20??? Try using both a $20 laser and the a good laser like this 200mW Hulk model.

You'll quickly find that there is an immense difference in quality and that is why they cost more to both make and buy.

  • @dragonlasersfanman Why don't you do a comparison video?

  • @craig1360 i found a 200mw green laser for $53.78 but you could always go for a less powerful version 50mw for example, which can be bought from around $14

  • @Pantera3795 doesnt matter now, i found a 200mw red laser for 41$, but thanks anyways

  • @craig1360 kwl nice one =D...where did you find that?

  • @Pantera3795 budgetgadgets . com

  • @craig1360 kwl thank you ill have a look =D

  • ok thanks

  • can I purchase it on ebay? with this power?

  • @rimini759 Basically no. Many ebay sellers advertise lasers with this power but they are scams.

  • laser pointers can also be use as a pointer when teachers point at the whiteboard or something else to learn children but i want one of those

  • @createDXemnas A good point. This laser though is too powerful to be used in a classroom setting.

  • wow thats so kool and amazing now if only i could afford one then it would be the best!!!

  • No.

The mirror in the background was careless but popping balloons with out glasses is not careless.

  • wow, who would buy this? cos popping balloons and getting a girlfreind is hard right?

  • Speaking from personal experience?

  • @rodneytheincontinent Haha, pwned.

  • If you look at 1:02, you see that the reflection of the laser off the balloon nearly hits the guy's eyes. He's a dumbass for not wearing laser safety glasses while playing with such powers.

  • whats MW

  • mW means mili wats

  • thats so right he is realy stupid

  • he use the laser as his girlfriend at night so leave him alone, thats why err morning he is burned lol, another trip to the clinic for him

  • cool laser i just bought the hulk 150mw cant wait to get it

  • A man of you age playing with a laser to blow ballon.... grow up

  • You could say the same for men in their 30's and 40's playing console games.

  • what are they for? "i'm showin' ya"

so they're for popping balloons, lighting matches (when your matches don't come with a lighting pad), and for fun with mirrors.

can't deny their coolness, but I do doubt the practicality.

  • For many people such as engineers and soldiers, these lasers are very practical.

  • @dragonlasersfanman how so.....

  • @followthesiren yeah seriously.... those things are like 300 bucks

  • i have a 240mw green laser ;-) very nice

  • wonderful, you can ruin a little kids day if he had a balloon anything impressive?

  • great laser

  • omg i don't know if the laser was this or a more powerful one but it was on a 1000 ways to die an assassin put one of them in a fake instrument case and aimed at at the guys head died instantly =P pretty awesome

  • wow this is amazing,it can pop balloons with a mirror!

  • can you light a cigarrette with it??

  • Easily. The same model laser is used in several videos to light cigarettes.

  • nice!!

  • The 320 mW laser costs 999,99$ :|

1000$ to burn some people? That's kinda expensive :\

  • not to burn people, well maybe, but your friends, not as a weapon O.O...well maybe =P But people use it just to burn stuff essentially, why not? lol

  • @R4Zy3L ikr? id rather use a lighter for $2 (:

  • when you popped the balloons the laser reflection almost hit you in the eyes!

  • Comment removed

  • @Canoni450

    "okei"

    "mently"

    "fysikly"

He's not the only one with problems...

  • You made the idea of buying of that laser sound worse!

like : "what could you do with a 700$ laser?" - light a match .

Well, then i can save 700$ by lighting a match normally, isn't that so?

  • Don;t forget your safety goggles

  • haha 700 bucks

  • O_o i rather buy a shotgun with that kind of money..

  • @omegared339

This is silent though ;) and great conversation piece. Not to mention in a alley you can blind some fool who tries to Rob you. Just saying. HECK I want a shotgun WITH green laser! :D

  • @TripleZ89

    ah too-shay. lol.

  • where can i get one for that price?

  • You can get a 350mW laser for $999 from Dragonlasers at w w w dragonlasers com

  • odd law in the USA you can carry guns but not a stupid 5mW laser! in the UK we have no such law's. who is the twat that thinks you can't pop balloons with a hand held laser this guy clearly No's fuck all, I have a 420Nm,530Nm and a655Nm all about the 100mW range and can burn dark materials with ease, this guy is a liar

I think he deals with torches and in what capacity do you use lasers? because you need to be fired and people who understand and respect lasers dont point them at aircraft TWAT

  • itd b cool to light a bowl with one of those. =)

  • How come sometime you can see the line of the laser and sometime you can't ?

  • Depends on the angle that you see/film it from and the surrounding level of light

  • now, aim the laser beam directly into your eye and tell me the result, please.

  • Fool.

  • this bullshit

  • Why do you say that?

  • popping ballons with a handheld laser? not only would you need much more reflection space for power like that, but anything over 5mW not saleable to consumers

  • So you think this video is a fake?

The 5mW law is only for the US and does not apply online or in other countries.

  • lol and to think, if this power is allowed to people outside US and online, then why doesnt alquieda use it to detect and destroy US air fighters? a 200mW used at 500 feet should be powerful enough to disrupt the US's Instuments.

    just saying.

if this was in fact real, then usa woulda been fucked long ago. I deal with lasers a lot. i know their power

  • If you know their power than you'll know that portable lasers with up to 300mW or more of power are a fact and that 100mW is capable of burning things and popping balloons.

  • i live in the US and i got a 10mw and a 50mw if a cop sees them will he take them away

  • That could be due to a state law. National laws are administered by the FDA and class 3B lasers (500mW or less) are legal to own and use.

  • please protect your eyes ......

  • It has been found out that 5 teenagers aged 14 to 15

helped an old lady across the road useing a lazer

  • Bans are not the answer. if those losers did not have lasers, they'd use something else like rocks.

  • good point.

  • True... but it's sort of hard to attack a police helicopter with a rock.

Also what you say is only part of the problem. There's also a lot of kids out there with these things. There was one case in the beginning of December where two 15 year old kids where seen running from the scene where an older man had just gotten a green laser right in the face.

  • Good points. The problems with lasers is you can make them at home with enough power and beam quality to hurt people which makes bans useless.

The best solution is education and appropriate laws/penalties.

Lasers are like pandora's box. Once opened, can't be closed/banned.

  • yeee i agree with you look at this retard on the video ahahahahahhaahhah so lame

  • lmao 2:34 :D

  • yo kiero uno!!

  • You are definitely don't use youtube for making friends.

  • Ohne schutzbrille!!!! viel spass beim blindenschrift lernen!

  • why do you need 10cent machess when you can buy a 400 $ lazer and do less then the machess

  • so they use high tech laseres to light bday cakes hmmmmm somehow i think that laser might have better uses

  • use it to light your bday cake

  • this deserves 5 stars because of the amount of balloons you had lined up. made me laugh :D thanks!

  • price??

  • $400 and upwards for that kind of power

  • some people just dont get it

  • Probably the most expensive wind proof lighter available... just dont blind yourself, ok!

  • Damn, this is the future. I can see star wars and halo already.

  • get an actual life. lol.

  • People who write comments on youtube like "get a life" don't normally make good role models of people with a life.

  • because people with a life generally no longer need role models.....or laser pointers.

  • 4146405 if you clicked in to this video just to say "get a life" maybe you should get a life...am I wrong?

  • If that was indeed the case then I'd be a very busy boy -slating all the other videos I didn't like on youtube and in that unlikely case; yes, I probably should get a life. However I clicked on it out of curiosity to see what it was and as it happens I think the video's pretty cool. I'm just struggling to see how something like a laser pointer can possibly improve your life to the extent that someone would be prepared to pay 100's of dollars for one. you are a sensitive bunch aren't you?

  • um idiot... I take 4146405's side because he didnt click this vid to say that dam it, it's only after the video he understands that there is no point and that it's a waste of money, and u are wrong, and that that guy seriously looks like he needs a life, just saying.

  • All depends on what turns you on and and you enjoy.

For some people a $5000 plus flat screen tv or $200-$300 tab from a nights drinking is a waste of money

  • a t.v. is invented for enterainment, I don't believe drinking is good, suppose they go and drink... it's only for a special occasian... Now I must ask. What is the purpose of this laser and pay over $400?

  • Astronomy, alignment, experiments, shows, scaring birds and the list goes on.

The point is different people have different needs/wants and will value things differently. So what may be a waste of money for you is money well spent for some one else.

  • "scaring birds"

    HAHA!

    Epic!

  • Nice vid :) can't wait to get my 125mw greenie. I'm gonna go somewhere really dark and just look at the emerald beam streaking across the night sky for hours.

  • watch you leave it on and forget and it burns your house

  • impossible

perhaps if he did leave it on, it might make a very small, and I mean small, PIN HOLE into dark material.

Tried it even on paper, the paper will not light up, but you do see smoke, and afterwards, a small pin hole

The matches light up because that's what they are ment for. The heat from the laser is hot, but not hot like a fire, hot like Vapourizing, so no radiant heat thus it will not start a fire

  • 2:34 the best part, he was like "shut up balloon"

  • that;s kind of kinky.

  • Do you even understand how ironic and absurd your comment is?

Thanks for a good laugh ;)

  • You are judgmental and ignorant. A dangerous combination.

  • these are like 700 dollars

  • Take one of those to a carnival and use it on one of those dart/balloon games. Your buddy is behind you and your throwing darts.

  • LOOOOFL using an ir laser no one would be able to see it... im sooo doing this

    -hero

  • I never understand if you can actually see these beams in broad daylight or if that's just the effect of using a camera. Uhhh... Hint hint, I guess.

  • Laser beams are normally more visible to the naked eye than the beam that is visible on a camera.

  • buen vidio me gusta el laser si señor

  • holy crap thats so beast! frikin awesome

  • thats sick

  • these things are fun I have a 200mw red that I pop the hairs off my arm with. They are color specific. you can burn dark objects, however you can point it right on your skin and it has absolutely no effect. well unless you have dark hair and it feels kinda cool when the hair burns off. and as far as burning out your eyes, try and find a legitimate story in news or paper where someone has burned out their eyes permanently. you wont find one. unless its surgical or in a factory environment.

  • you can get burnt retinas from pointing lasers in your eyes (not actual burnt eyeballs)

  • you would have a hard time looking at one long enough to real damage, your reflexes wont allow you to unless you are doing it intentionally.

  • This is true

  • haha... How can i get one... gotta use it on me brother..

  • so the answer to "what do you do with them?" is..... waste $600 and do absolutely nothing with them

  • The uses are countless and range from fun and experimenting to light shows and scaring birds.
