sorry, but the way it ended looks horrible. great start though.

awesome idea, but the execution ended up being a bit messy because of where the paint leaked. may i suggest carefully painting the whole board, like you did at the beginning, not applying the thick paint brush and just wiping it around.

apart from that, i liked it. (sorry, i'm a perfectionist lol)

for those who don't know... primer is about as much as regular paint, only it can come in white, gray, and black and is used to help bond surface to paint and helps it last on the board. in other words, not useing primer makes it more prone to chip, flake off, or just peel away from what you wanted painted. so its always a good idea to use primer. at least 3 coats.

the primer creates a better surface. the paint grips it better, also makes the surface smoother if it is rough. If you use a new board that is lacquered, you can go at it right away with your spray paint. but it is better to coat with white first so your colors POP!

Your first deck? You went a little over kill on the primer for such a basic design. Was that bleed thru the tape at the end? Or was it just the video quality? Try better tape, look at 3M products they have higher quality tape that seals better. Unless you're pinstriping it after. Also don't wait for the paint to completely dry, take the tape off when it's close to being dry but still tacky. The edges will smooth out for a cleaner flatter finish. Nice vid though TY!
