Fun!! I did that to the wall of my bedroom at my brother's condo. When I moved out in the mid-nineties, he had me primer the wall with kills. That sharpie art bled through two coats. By the 3rd coat, my drawerings were gone. :(
Digital cameras were not plentiful, and I was too cheap to buy film. Oh well!!! You may inspire me to pick up a pen.... Oooooooieooooooh!!
