Its a shame more people aren't migrating to +. Facebook is just a privacy invading tool, designed purposely to have the whole damn planet on record. the sad thing is, it has monopoly on pretty much every aspect of social networking. People these days hardly use email, phones etc its all done via Facebook.

And as for Google+, it's been doing poorly, I've had it for about 4 months now and I have like 5 of my friends on it. While on Facebook I have 210 friends. I'd say it's failing. It is a nice site, but it's just a hassle to switch for a lot of people.

I had high hopes for Google+, however it failed miserably. I signed up as soon as it came out but only like 7 of my friends out of 219 on facebook joined as well. Circles is a nice concept but Facebook has groups, which is the same thing. I love Google Hangouts, but what's the point when nobody is on the G+??? It's just a nuisance for people to make the switch. And why would they? It's pretty much more of the same which they're already getting on Facebook.

Facebook is already being shot with holes with the new updates they implemented and add to that all the excitement over Google+. Google's layout for the site is clean and minimalistic too even compared to FB. G+ might seem a little complicated for people who haven't tried it but once you sign up it's really simple and clean.

I really have to wonder how G+ will fare once it is not invite-only, how it will stack up against FB. If, as you're saying, it has more features than FB, it could very well take over...a la MySpace. Me, I haven't joined FB but was able to get a g+ invite, and it looks good...not great, at least not yet.

I don't have a Facebook account, BUT it does allow you to find people. From what I see from Google+, this seems like a missing feature. This is a major missing feature for a social site. I hope Google continuously improves this app.

reason why facebook tends to suck isnt so much about google having circles, because u can basically create that inside facebook to a certain degree. I disagree with this video's use of "whomever" in the phrase:

"...and automatically shows a bigger video of whomever is talking."

The pronoun here is not the object. The whole clause, "whoever is talking," would be the object. It's an oversimplification always to use "whom" after a preposition.
