Yeah NS. I think I got lucky with my CPU, MOBO and RAM combination. I guess 5.0GHz is not all the common with the 2500 or 2600K. Funny thing is, I've been running the 5GHZ config for the last three days and it's been rock solid, in fact it's the most stable setup I've had with this board. And the temps with the Hyper cooler are only a few degrees higher than the default setup with the standard cooler -peak temps with a heavy FSX load (jfk full Ai) peak at 70c.
... One other observation; with my Win7 64 boot my video card heats much more than it did with my old E8400 setup, but with Xp my video card is pretty much the same as it was with the E8400.
1.45v. The temps are only a few degrees C above what I get at 5.0. At spike peak temps I max out at 72c, at 5.0 I'll spike at 70c (1.42v), but averages for both are usually hi 60's C under hvy load.
Again, as I said earlier, I think I got real lucky with this rig.

hey man, cool vids :D. i watched your 4.8 ghz too, but whats the volts set at?

@mikej5337
The vcore under 95% load is 1.411 to 1.416. VID is 1.39. I run the offset mode (+005) over the base (1.9) with speedstep.

@FunknNasty That's strange. My GPU peaks at like 50C

@thefsxflyer
Don't you have the 460? The 460 is like an A/C unit compared to the GTX275.
BTW, Running, as I type, at 5.2GHz. :-)

@FunknNasty Yep and holy crap you are insane lol I am guessing you voltage is pretty high 1.5+?
