I have been watching the whole series. Now I reached Season 8. It is so funny to see this music video. After watching the last seasons, the first ones seem so far away. How young they were then! I remember Gillian Anderson's act was not so good in the first season, but later she learnt how to play.

You're welcome! It also plays on one of the DVD sets either on the main menu or while selecting eps but for the life of me I can't remember which set or which DVD. I tried to look last night at a few episodes, Detour, Tithonus, Two Fathers but it wasn't any of those sets. It must have been another DVD episode I watched recently but I just can't remember which one.

@GrissomLovesSara the only episode i ever heard that music was ''soft light '' the one about dark matter and people dissapearing into their shadow . did you see that one ? i have no dvds of x files . i am saving to buy the whole set , all episodes on amazon or ebay .

@cinnamongirlx1 - yes the only episode it plays in is 'soft light'. I remember thinking it was great. What I meant about the DVD's is sometimes on the MENU of certain DVD's parts of music play and the music for soft light was chosen to play on the MENU of certain DVD's but I can't remember which of the DVD sets used it. So it doesn't play during the episode but it plays on the MENU part of the DVD for certain episodes. You'll see when you get the DVD's!

You're welcome! Actually I got my sets many years ago. I got the old style thick sets that were expensive for seasons 1-6 and then I got the 'thin' set for season 7. Not as fancy. I rarely spend money on DVD's but it was worth it for X-Files. Not sure the thick packs are still available. The content on the DVD's is the same though you just don't get the fancy packaging and that type of stuff with the thin one. I would recommend waiting for Amazon to have a sale or try EBAY

You could also use the 'USED' area of amazon and get them cheaper from sellers who sell on Amazon.

You can get New ones from the USED section too. It's just an area where people sell things cheaper. The used are cheaper than the new but you can get NEW under used if that makes sense. Check it out. Look around until you find what you want. Also, I've never gotten a used DVD that was scratched from the sellers on Amazon. It depends on the seller and the seller's rating. If you're worried though go with new

So you can either go through amazon for 28.99 + around 3 for shipping or go to the new/used section and choose New for 27.99 + Free shipping fulfilled by Amazon or New 24.99 + 2.98 shipping fulfilled by that seller's own stock, not Amazon. You have to compare prices. In this situation all the USED ones under the USED tab are just as expensive as NEW so you wouldn't be saving anything

Go to amazon and type in The X-Files - The Complete Fifth Season (Slim Set) (1993)

and you'll see what I mean. Amazon sells it for 28.99 then you go down to where it says 26 New/Used for 24.99 and click there and you'll see where the people are selling NEW ones for the same price as Amazon pretty much. And the Used are all just as expensive as new so in this case it wouldn't be worth it to by used. Sorry I know this is confusing but sometimes you get VERY good sales on the used area of Amazon

Never seen any X Files episode up until 1997, everyone was talking about it, i was excited, but never managed to see any episode!

After seeing this music clip, I WAS HOOKED! I knew that this show was somehow, strangely...part of my psyche, i felt related to it instantly!

Years after, still...I rewatch episodes with the same intensity and thrill like the first time!

The X Files are my chilhood. I remember the times I was sitting in front of the TV scared to death of Aliens, Tooms, Flukeman and the gargoyle in "Grotesque" (couldn't sleep for three days after that one). Such a great memorable film one of the best in the 90's and probably the best show of all time. This clip reminds me of my young years when Viva was a decent music channel. Nowadays even MTV shows crap.

...i think the prob is that people try to be unique all the time...so most of the time they end up with NOTHING...that is why shows suck now more than ever :( One thing is for sure though that X-FILES will always be the best...i'm STILL waiting for one just as good as this one..but i'm gonna have to accept that's never gonna happen,not in my lifetime ;)
