These guys just hate people and their liars. They "think" somethings bad but really all they hate is the Japanese people. A Japanese whaler wanted to join the team but he was rejected. The captian was also rejected by the greenpeace and pretended to get shot by the Japanese and make them "think" the Japanese are bunch of bad peoples. I really don't like people killing a lot of animals but don't think the Japanese are the only people who kill.
@GOGETTERKAMIKAZ11111 Your argument is empty. We ALL "think" somethings are bad. The ""s are meaningless. Also, they rejected a Japanese whaler likely because they thought he was a spy. Duh (sorry, but come on!). You also make huge accusations with no evidence. *Your* prejudice leads you to absurd conclusions. For example, if you actually talked to these people, they absolutely would not say they think all Japanese people are bad nor that they think only Japanese people kill animals.
The Japanese are using millitary class weapons to ward of the Sea Shepherds. That's pathetic on their part. They're to small and puny to understand what matters. Keep on fighting Sea Shepherds
They really need to have more than 1 big boat to help stop the whale killing idiots, 1 boat isn't enough!
They also should get some kind of launcher like the one they use to launch fire works instead of trying to throw stuff on the whaling ships. Its too windy and I don't see how they can throw very far in those conditions.
They need to get some one on board one of the whale killing ships and film/photograph their so-called 'research'!
Would you rather that the whales dissapeared from the Oceans forever? The consequences would be too great. Fish numbers would increase, plankton numbers would decrease. Fish would die. You want that to happen?
this is what kokomo4649 said: "Banish the war to the American white supremacist無KUNARANAI. Culturally speaking, cause friction with other countries in cold blood and I think justice is the correct value. They are going to consider a species in danger of extinction and Japan and other whaling nations. The life of a whale's mouth odors in cows. Historical overfishing and know that whale oil to Americans."
Bunch of idiots. If you let the Japanese take a certain amount of whales, there'd more incentive for them to worry about the numbers of whales alive. Since it would be a commodity that the Japanese use anyway, which you end up protecting your supply.
That rust bucket of a ship probably does damage to the whales and their environment by leaking god knows how much fuel into the ocean.
I'd worry more about large scale gill netting and bottom troweling, does way more damage.
I agree that large scale netting and troweling are desperately unreported and vastly destructive practices against the oceans. I disagree with the logic that allowing the Japanese to slaughter of whales will lead to more conservation efforts for the whales or for the oceans in general by the Japanese. It won't. If this subject does really, actually worry you, then you should step up efforts to stop large scale netting and bottom troweling.
first of all, if we let the japanese take their whales, they will make lots of money. One minke whale can earn 500 grand and one endangered fin whale can earn up to a million dollars. The more money they make the more they are going to want to make.
Second, by chasing these ships around and intimidating them, Sea Shepherd is effectively removing boats from the water. Indeed many former whalers have stopped their actions because they fear retaliation from SS, offsetting all their carbon.
@stewy357 Really protect your supply? Japan is intentionally over fishing blue fin tuna to extinction and storing their supply so that when it goes extinct they can set the price on the market and sell there thousands of tons of tuna. These people are killing the planet for money. It doesnt make sense.
i lovwe what the sea shephards are doing if i were old enough i'd go and be part of the crew if watson asked me to board a japanese whaler i'd say hell yes (my dad would fully support me in that venture)
I am worried about you. If you think throwing stink bombs is terrorism, you are way too easily frightened. I suggest seeing a psychiatrist. Excessive or oversensitive states of fear are a symptom of mental illness.
killing whales illegally is the real terrorism. They are using whatever Non-violent means necessary to do what the australian navy should be doing, which is enforcing the law. A stink bomb doesn't hurt anybody. It simply makes their job as illegal criminals harder.
FYI - unfortunately the USA is a whaling country... The whaling program is managed by the Alaska Eskimo Whaling Commission which reports to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. The hunt takes around 50 Bowhead Whales a year from a population of about 10,500 in Alaskan waters.
cuteameri, you are assuming that I agree with the policies of the United States or that I must defend what the United States is doing. I do not agree with the policies of the United States against other animals. I am against Japanese whaling. I am also against the ecological and wildlife destruction done by the United States.

It is bad for the environment to eat the cow.
Why is it an anti-whale fishing though the United States is a whaling nation?
Whales ..threatened species.. is hunted for the United States.
The number of whales that Japan is hunting whales has increased.
But the threatened species that the United States is hunting whales decreases.
Please explain the United States.
