the last great year of Metallica because James voice was still perfect why did God have to take his godlike voice away from him thats why in my opinion there albums sucked dragon balls because the band was hella uninspired cuz of james voice had to die then it was only about money from then on...UNFORGIVEABLE!!! hail old Metallica

Why would we think that Kirk sucks at playing guitar? Because he didnt play a very fast solo? Where do you base the quality of a guitarist on? Do you think that the Unforgiven solo doesn't picture Kirk as a great guitarist? Do you think he is gay because he played a solo over an acoustic riff? He makes money out of music, he basicly has beaten life.

Do I think he is a great guitarist? Yea lol but Schuldiner, Wylde and Mustaine, Friedman, Dimebag, Poland own him XD.

You should put all details and appearance observations asside when trying to judge a guitarist wether he sucks or not, you clearly think Kirk is a good guitarist because he is ''brutal'' or something for being in Metallica playing songs like Master of Puppets or Enter Sandman with very fast solo's! Oooh! So fast! -_-, speed or brutallity changes nothing, judge him on his songwriting.

If I should judge him on his songwriting, I'd say he was fucking great at Lightning and Puppets, rest: Meh.
