I picked the name 'Assemblage 23' randomly out of a list of bands and then picked this song randomly out of a list of their songs. It's so wonderful to find something so beautiful by chance. :')

My boyfriend introduced me to this artist. Which is ironic... cause this is how I felt before I met him... Still do some days.

I know I shouldn't whine on the internet but this song... just makes me really remember everything... alcoholic father that got violent, a broken family, sexual assault by someone I trusted, friends that turned their back and threw hateful comments at me because of the assault... yeah I definitely feel damaged.

I guess I'm just so glad I finally found someone to trust :)

This Music and group is Great. I have been lloking for music like this since the early to mid-1990's. This is music is top notch unlike the stuff they pass off as quality. This music makes you think about feelings and emotions at different times in your life. I just love this song and group. It feels like finding a Oasis in a desert.

This band really knows how to express the wide range of human emotions. I hear this song and remember my Son who took his own life (at 13 years old) because of a fight he lost that was on posted on YouTube, loss of his Grandmother, a girl, etc,. so on. Every word in this song I can relate to and I'm sure a great deal of other people who have lost some one they love can as well... Three years & one very close attempt at joining him I'm still trying to go on. But like the song I keep on going.

@Aphyxian i beg to differ. i've been a fan of A23 for years and I don't consider the band, or the fans, to be "emo". yes, sometimes A23 can be very somber but if you look deeper a lot of the songs not only talk about being hurt and lost but also pulling yourself up from whatever has hurt you. A23 is one of the best ebm or "synth" bands out there.

One of my favorites songs by Assemblage 23....And it's pretty funny how much this song in particular, but some of their others too REALLY fit a Character in my Story...Like...Perfectly, who which is in ways based off myself...Even his Voice kinda reminds me of my Character, how I always pictured his Voice to sound. I know it's random, but that's one of the things I think of when I hear Assemblage 23's music.
