@HSD112 No sorry :S ITs because the server runs in like a real-time environment so it changes how it works. Singleplayer makes the item's state different and when you leave the map, everything is frozen and so nothing is happening but in multiplayer its the other way. I might be wrong but thats how i put it. (Sorry if that was confusing)

The cool thing about it is that you can double your whole inventory, so start with a diamond. 1,2,4,8,16,32,64,128,256,512,1024,2048. In about 20 minutes, you have everything you could possibly need.
