I drove there 7-3-10 and took pictures. An 18 wheeler honked its horn at me when I felt the need to pull over and suddenly pulled into the shoulder. I took a picture in the opposite direction where the limit changed to 75 just east of the 98th St/ Arroyo Vista Blvd exit. It's easy to go 75 eastbound, but hard going westbound, eastbound, you're going downhill, westbound, you're going uphill, I was up to 80 by the time I was in a 65 mph zone eb I-40 circa mile 152.
J'aimerais tellement aller dans cette ville un jour...Pourquoi n'avons nous pas d'aussi grandioses paysages en France? Dommage...Magnifique rêve d'évasion. Merci
Man, I got a kick out of this. Every commuter who drives near the Big-I(the interstate crossing in Albuquerque) should watch it. I enjoyed hearing "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly" music mixed in with footage of I-40.
ha ha, i love the Sergio Leone music, it seems like you are headed toward something ominous, but in the end it is just....Albuquerque....I'm not slaggin', I came from the Duke City
@manly1974 It might actually be an Arabic name. Al-Buquerque. There is a latin word that sounds similar and they both mean the same thing (oak wood or something). Probably because of the Moors in Spain.
thank you a nice video although edited.grew up there now in virginia

@manly1974
I know it's real late replying, I just saw this video.
If you're even around still.
The Duke City is Albuquerque.
It's called that, because it was named after the The Duke of Alburquerque in in Spain(yeah, there was some misspelling somewhere a long the way).
Anyway.
