Bye Bye, Wicca. (Part 2)

I have been thinking about the KO for a while... not completely sure about going into it, as there are some minor things that don't ring true for me and I'm not ready to commit myself to anything (be it KO or anything else). Do you know the general attitudes toward those who love and worship the gods but aren't 100% on joining? It'd be wonderful to have contact and fellowship with people who share my love for the gods. I'm just scared of being told to "GTFO" or something...

@Forestimp45 Oh, I totally know that. We have an entire level of commitment for people who have those kinds of views/feelings toward the temple :) For those who have taken our beginners' class to learn about us, want to remain in the community, maybe come to gatherings, interact with us and have a love for the gods but aren't looking to be named, go through RPD, or really *commit* to being a member of KO, they are welcome to stay on as Remetj ("friends of the faith", basically). :)

I am glad that you have found a spiritual path that truly makes you happy. As you may or may not know I too have been exploring my spirituality a lot more. I am still Wiccan however I have been mixing into my cosmology ceremonial magick, Antinous worship, Unitarian Universalism, and some of my own personal pantheons. I believe that in order for spirituality to be healthy it must never be stagnant but always continue to grown and transform.

I felt the same about Wicca, it just never satisfied my thirst, there was always something missing. It was very interesting to study though. Oh I hope you dont lay dormant too long!!

I have a hard time labeling myself as any one particular "faith," but I know that many--maybe most--people want that. I'm happy for you! Blessings to you on your new path. I can't wait for you to put up videos on the Khemetic Order. Wicca is not for everyone. I left Wicca about 9 or 10 years ago. I thank Wicca for the spiritual foundation that it has given me, but it was time to move on. Once again, blessings to you.
