I got this and my first figures at the same time, shortly before I even saw a STAR WARS movie, and spent a good long time sitting on the floor looking at the illustration on the cover and the card inside showing all the figures in the case.
They would make an R5D4 and a Snaggletooth, but why didn't they make a Grand Moff Tarken? Better yet, what about that guy in the cantina who started a fight with Ben?
@GarthanSaal444 Actually, they did make a figure of the trouble maker in the cantina. It was called "Walrus Man" back then. Better known as "Ponda Baba" here in 2011.
Its funny that not until commericals for the Return of the Jedi toys did they feature actual Star Wars music. Ads from 1978-1982 did not and almost had the same generic 'heroic' theme played over them. Interesting.
i always imagined that red snaggletooth had his Sears cantina legs chopped off by obiwan off camera, always felt obiwan was out of line chopping Pondas arms off, couldnt a mind trick have been less violent ....
My mom's cat pissed in or on most of my Star Wars toys; the case, the Falcon, even the land speeder. To this day I still associate Star Wars with the smell and stain of cat urine.
It was one of the cantina patrons in the left hand of the screen where Han Solo was seated, staring at the couple of stormtroopers who stopped at Han's table for a second in response to some commotion involving an old man using a lightsabre on two thugs, then they moved on.
why thank u very much....im glad snaggletooth moved on and didn't get involved in the shananigans of that young farm boy and his aged friend with the glowing sword
24 figures...and there were only 21 in the original line during that time. But I guess if you have an extra stormtrooper or "Death Squad Commander" (should've made a Grand Moff Tarkin figure back then).....
If you add the Big Head Han, the blue outfit Snaggletooth, Plastic cape Jawa, and Boba Fett W/ Firing back pack then you have 25. Not counting the other variations there were.
i keep my figures in the attactix cases. you can fit about 3 on top in two rows horizontal, and a bunch on the side, so about 50 if you get lucky. but the draw back is you cant really get to the figures on the bottom so....... yeah.
My dad gave me these when I was 7 years old. They were his as a kid, and I think I lost some of them :( I'm trying to find some for cheap.

Still have mine from all those years ago. It was the first case that came out and liked it more than the ones that would come later.

The art on that case is classic. It would make a nice poster.
