The creature at the very start isnt drinking guinness,he thinks the water is digusting and so evolution begins and ends with the guys drinking guinness in the bar, its a brilliant advert and a brilliant pint !

Also, the "frog" doesn't think Guinness is disgusting, (which appears to be suggested in the poster's description), they think the water they are drinking at the beginnings of life on Earth is disgusting. It's suggesting millions of years of evolution and something finally tastes good.
