@chickmag136 From your comment, i would guess you were not old enough to remember this Reagan was a fantastic wit and well known for his jokes. Although he did not realise he was still live when this went out. It was very funny because every one took the piss out of the Russians in the 80`s.
I was in DC, a few blocks from the Soviet Embassy when that all went down. A fast line of LADA and Mercedes left the compound right quick. We figured "OK, we're dead" so we went to the Union Jack nightclub and danced. They were showing videos of nuclear tests, and played songs like 99 Luftballoon, Lets All Make a Bomb, One of our submarines, etc...
