When the Philadelphia Union began play in MLS, manager Piotr Nowak personally requested the team use this song. The Flyers and the Union have a very friendly relationship, and during the playoffs last season, The Flyers replaced "Bro Hymn" with "Maria" or what we call "The Doop Song." It stuck.

The culture of the team and the emphasis of the team went in a really smart direction. Getting a goaltender was the first thing they should've done, and since Carter and Richards are gone, they're gonna have to find new ways of getting it done on offense. I like their chances, particularly with Jagr and Van Riemsdyk. So yeah, no Flyer hate from me.

Sorry Max, but going to a movie two days after a severe concussion and back injury is a bad idea. I hate Montreal. I really do. I'm actually hoping to see Toronto do some good this year and make the playoffs. Been too long for them, and I have a few friends who are Leafs fans. So good luck to them!

I'm sorry but there is nothing "clean" about shoving a player over the bench boards while he is in motion, giving him no chance to protect himself from the stanchion that he is being shoved towards. had Brendan Shanahan been the head of the Department of Player Safety when that had occurred, Chara would have surely received a suspension for it.
