Spy tips and tricks

Disguising as spy is good, if you know when. When in your own team's area disguise as enemy spy. As soon as you get into enemy area re-disguise. Why doubt a spy in enemy territory? It's where there meant to be. Though if alone just go in cloaked.

Being disguised as an enemy spy is one of the best disguises to choose. It lets you run among your players, just act like an enemy spy would, beeline for your own players, then cloak and switch lines, change disguises or just stay as spy. One of my personal favs for disguises. Nobody suspects their own spy ;)

Very good help, thank you for stressing using freindly class disguises. I hate it when there are other bad spies not disguising as a friendly class during the set up of a game.

I'm saving up to get TF2, and I'm contemplating what class I should use most. I'm thinking about using the spy.

Is that a good choice for a beginner, or is there something better that I could use to get the hang of the game?

Eh. The choice is yours. Based on my experience, the Pyro class is usually good for beginners since it's easy to stack up kills and such.

And you should use the Spy at one point. Very fun class (not to say the others aren't fun as well).

Yeah pyros pretty easy, but it doesn't really matter. TF2 is one of the games that holds true to 'easy to learn, hard to master', so just play whatever you want to play. If you're bad at it, just play it some more, sallgood.

for the best choice of begginer i would say scout, not the strongest but if you plan on surviving the most hes your best bet, fast, jumps high, and not bad attacks, but spy is ok i personaly prefer it but not the best begginer

@HeavyMetalRayman pyro is the easiest to kill players cuz they just burn and run away, hardest is spy cuz i has a lot of trick to it. Got 30 kills streak for my spy

u shood get the cloak and dagger and that tip will own it will buy u unlimeted time

but it can't refill from ammo crates scattered about. plus the best move for a spy is to move in fast and make your play. though i will admit some situations call for C&D

The only criticism I have is that ALL disguises work, you just have to know how to use them. Trust me, I end up at the top of the scoreboards all the time and I use medic disguise tons. When the heavy comes to me for healing I shoot him full of lead. Very good video though.

Medic disguise hardly works at all, unless you're playing against nubs. People run up to you yelling medic, realise they're not healing you or accidentally bump into you trying to get said heal and then kill you. Its easily the worst out of those 3 to pick. Theoretically yes every disguise works, its just some are really shit :>

Now, either this was changed since you made the video, or not, I don't know, but "b" doesn't do class disguises. From what I have done, it only changes your weapon. Which is useful.

@Incitic Hi, excellent video. I just have another tip to share with you:

If you're running from friendly territory to enemy territory while disguised, run out of your team's territory BACKWARDS. Then, when the time's right, turn around and go to the enemy territory. It makes it seem like you were being attacked, and had to make a tactical recruit.

When I started as the Spy I sucked to high heaven, but now i'm practicing a lot i'm getting a little better ;)
