  • when i went there the canoe rower fell out of the canoe when it was rocking too much... he looked really mad. : I

  • I was stationed in Hawaii for 3 years and took my my kids to PCC several times; always had a blast, so much fun.

  • This brings back so many memories. I went to the PCC in 2001 and haven't been back since. I miss it terribly. During one of the dances in the parade, the female dancers were rocking the boats and one of the men fell off. They were wearing green, I want to say it was the Fijians, but my memory's horrible.

  • i miss hawaii

  • me 2 i was there for 2 weeks in march

  • wow i MISS THE PCC!!! i used to push canoes for the tours and show. the best place on earth wow i'm all nostalgic

  • I miss this place so much too!!! I use to dance in the Maori village for a few years and the canoe too. And NO! it is not a profit organization... believe me! we went to school, went to work to pay for school!!! ahh fun times! And thats Aunty Niki being the MC... Lov ya Aunty.

  • Go PCC!! This Place is very dear to me!! I invite you all who visit Hawaii to go and ENJOY this magical place.

  • omg i miss hawaii..and this place! i LOVED The canoe pageant! thanks for the video!!! =D

  • I just LOVED PCC!.......I really do!...I went this last Week!....it was amazing! xD.......very hot people! xD...xD....really a great experience!,..you have to goooooooooooooooooo!

  • thanks for the video :) i used to live in hawaii for a long time and i went to the pcc every year. we always watched this...i missed it alot so im glad its here :)

  • Hey i was the dancer on the Fijian Canoe sitting right in the front. thanks for this video.

  • if youre complain why going? stay home...

  • I had gone out on my annual pass and got hit with the parking. I was there already, I filmed this and I no longer go and tell people not to go.

  • Just because you were unhappy with it doesn't mean you should be telling people not to go. A lot of PCC's employees are students at BYUH who work to put themselves through school. Some of the students NEED to work, through the IWES program. Most of PCC's full-time employees make their living working there, some of my own family included. Rather than tell people not to go, why not just tell them about the parking fee and let them decide for themselves if it's worth going for?

  • The parking fee was the last straw as I held an annual pass for many years prior. The customer service was poor so I went up upper mgmt. Their handling made my decision for me. It's my free opinion and people choose-go or no go. This is not a forum for discussion of the merits and ramafications of PCC pricing policy. Any further discussion will be deleted or access to leave ANY comments will be blocked.

  • so where's the law that says we can only talk about whats featured in the video? you shouldve disabled the comments if you don't want people discussing PCC. besides, we were only talking about the parking fee, which you also mentioned in your description, not "the merits and ramafications of PCC pricing policy". that's YOUR beef.

  • ya know, the only reason you get charged now for the parking is because of the workers. hahaha! rather than parking their cars in the back they'd park in the front because 1. it's closer and 2. you don't need ur work ID to get in. But they'd take up the tourists spots to park, so they charge now because of the workers. so we all suffer now. haha..kinda dumb, huh?

  • nice ah, the NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION. they cannot keep their tips but they can rip off the people who wanna park.

  • Hi heard they use the parking fees to pay the security dept. PCC supports hundreds of students that need scholarship funds for their education. It's going to a worthy cause.

  • they've managed to pay the security just fine all these years without parking charges, and i never said PCC doesn't support byuh students. but unless the money is being put towards a scholarship, who knows where it goes?

  • lot of mad people over here..hahaha whats you guys problems?

  • This center is NOT non-profit. It has been the number one paid tourist attraction for many years. There was an article in Time if I remember correctly and it stated that it is one of the largest revenue centers for the LDS folks.

  • not mad! just telling it like it is ^_^

  • I used to work for this center as a tour guide for two years. This video reminded me of my beautiful memories there. Mahalo nui loa.

  • Absolutely appreciated that you put the video on-line. Great memory ... I've been there too !

Shame about the waterfall noise in the background, but that shall be no criticism to yourself !
